Sara R-C, Friday, 7 October 2011 16:11 (fourteen years ago)

Okay, deX, you win. Definitely inappropriate. Are you happy now?!

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 October 2011 16:12 (fourteen years ago)

yes! ^_^

the tax avocado (DJP), Friday, 7 October 2011 16:12 (fourteen years ago)

lol okay then all is forgiven

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 October 2011 16:16 (fourteen years ago)

I spend so much time listening to the second half of the third Portishead album that I'd forgotten how great the first half is

the tax avocado (DJP), Friday, 7 October 2011 18:44 (fourteen years ago)

*feels sad that she is so far behind*

(I might even OWN that one, too)

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 October 2011 19:35 (fourteen years ago)

the tax avocado (DJP), Friday, 7 October 2011 19:36 (fourteen years ago)

arby's, Friday, 7 October 2011 21:49 (fourteen years ago)

Thank you! It was very nice, we ate a ton of great food, now I'm ready to pass out. Kids are still awake, though... they don't go to sleep if they have a sitter, apparently. SIGH

Sara R-C, Saturday, 8 October 2011 03:40 (fourteen years ago)

Happy anniversary!

the tax avocado (DJP), Saturday, 8 October 2011 04:01 (fourteen years ago)

Thank you! We went to Ristorante Luci, then Cheapo, which was fun/absurd. Food is fantastic there.

Did you guys do anything special for J031's birthday?

Sara R-C, Saturday, 8 October 2011 15:14 (fourteen years ago)

We went to a VERY nice restaurant in town called Troquet with good friends and had a fantastic meal with three bottles of wine. It was really, really nice.

the tax avocado (DJP), Saturday, 8 October 2011 17:34 (fourteen years ago)

J started her day at work with office mimosas and basically spent the whole day drinking, lol

the tax avocado (DJP), Saturday, 8 October 2011 17:35 (fourteen years ago)

Awesome x 1 billion!

Man, I love your wife, too, she's hilarious/awesome.

Sara R-C, Saturday, 8 October 2011 18:21 (fourteen years ago)

man, even when doing things I like to do I can't help but be a horrible procrastinator; I had a whole month to work on a song for the new ILX compilation and I basically slapped together the last half of it this weekend (which was actually the first half)

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 13:47 (fourteen years ago)

Hello hello. Wisconsin makes more sense to me now.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 15:25 (fourteen years ago)

xpost -- but you got done. By the skin of your teeth. And that is what counts.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 15:26 (fourteen years ago)

The sausages are considered mascots and have names. Brett, the bratwurst, is identified by his lederhosen. Stosh, the Polish sausage, sports dark glasses and a rugby shirt. The one with the mustache and the chef’s outfit is Guido, the Italian sausage. Frankie Furter, the hot dog, wears a baseball uniform. Cinco the chorizo dons a sombrero.

POLL

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 15:31 (fourteen years ago)

ILE thread plz.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 15:43 (fourteen years ago)

The greatest scandal Wisconsin had pre-Walker:

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 15:44 (fourteen years ago)

Baseball, Wisconsin and stupid mascot tricks

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 15:46 (fourteen years ago)

I lived in Wisconsin for almost a year, but most of that has faded.

On the other hand, I married someone from Wisconsin.

Hmmmmm.

*disturbed*

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:08 (fourteen years ago)

btw I don't know how to square deX's "I'm a procrastinator" with the fact that he was involved in every single activity, ever, when we were in high school.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:09 (fourteen years ago)

I was in all of those activities so I would have an excuse not to do any homework! Also, I was bored.

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:09 (fourteen years ago)

My excuse for overbooking myself was pretty much, "hey, I can not be at home this way"

How could you be BORED in HSTNGS, though!? *shock, horror*

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:15 (fourteen years ago)

haha that too; having no car out in the country suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:19 (fourteen years ago)

I suppose that would have made things worse by far.

If I got desperate, all I had to do to get home was walk a little way.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:25 (fourteen years ago)

yeah, if you got tired of your family you could, say, walk to Westview and window shop

I could... climb a tree. LITERALLY

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:31 (fourteen years ago)

The weird part is how much I now miss that house on L0U1S!

We should have had some extra rooms for friends who lived in the country who didn't want to go home overnight. Would have been perfect - well, except that there was never any food at my house (remember?).

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:31 (fourteen years ago)

ahahaha "window shopping" at Westview. My mother was bizarrely obsessed with Perman's. I still have no idea why.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:32 (fourteen years ago)

Also I still don't know how to climb a tree. Who learned real life skillz there?!

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:32 (fourteen years ago)

strangely, in my software job I have never had to climb a tree

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:33 (fourteen years ago)

well I know that isn't true

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:39 (fourteen years ago)

I have often had to chase wild geese tho

the tax avocado (DJP), Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:48 (fourteen years ago)

makes perfect sense; you live in the wilds of Boston and everything

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 16:52 (fourteen years ago)

It's a tragic place where he lives. The flying jellyfish attack his face each day.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:46 (fourteen years ago)

He should make that into a hit movie, srsly

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 October 2011 18:56 (fourteen years ago)

ugh

I typed "it's realy sad" into Youtube hoping to find something funny and found two separate ppl had uploaded the same video of a cat mourning over a dead cat's body

do not wake the dragon (DJP), Wednesday, 12 October 2011 21:58 (fourteen years ago)

Okay, "it's realy sad" is not going to bring you something funny, crazy!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:01 (fourteen years ago)

Dear deX, I am worried that somehow you haven't learned to use the internets correctly. And that confuses me deeply.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:01 (fourteen years ago)

Okay, "it's realy sad" is not going to bring you something funny, crazy!

I beg to differ

do not wake the dragon (DJP), Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:02 (fourteen years ago)

You are so weird. <3

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:04 (fourteen years ago)

I was entertaining myself the other day laughing over an old _General Hospital_ clip, though, so what am I even on about...

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:05 (fourteen years ago)

Beg to differ? I ardly even knewer etc

shite pele (darraghmac), Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:06 (fourteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:06 (fourteen years ago)

not that that's new

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 00:07 (fourteen years ago)

deX - listened to "Dragon" - and enjoyed it!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 13 October 2011 03:41 (fourteen years ago)

^_^ yay

do not wake the dragon (DJP), Thursday, 13 October 2011 03:51 (fourteen years ago)

p.s. I did not wake the dragon, so don't worry
