I could be wrong, but I think you're overestimating how strongly people feel about that record. I'd be really surprised if it makes the top 10, but also maybe top 15?

i would rather see robyn place top ten in your poll tbh friedrich neechy

if Robyn really had 30+ voters she'd be like top 3 but i don't think she'll get that many

it's not quite as good but "where we come from" which is ALSO from 2018 is definitely worth listening to as well.

Listening now. The looping and editing seems more foregrounded on this one, not quite as seamless.

My number 3. Max Tundra, Daphne & Celeste forever

a pleasing listen but i didnt go back to too often

I'll add that few people get how to make the sort of melodic, breakneck pop I love better than Tundra, he's sort of a genius and this is sort of his masterpiece

I totally called this as placing 20th! It is about as infectious and kitsch as it could be and there are a thousand wonderful synth hooks. A.L.T.O, Taking Notes and Somg to a Succulent are highlights.

I realised this would place when I looked at the track ballots. A euphoric feeling

a delightful, proper album that gathers detail and momentum as it goes. also one of the ilmiest albums i've ever heard

i have been putting off listening to the daphne and celeste all year and i'm sorry!!!

Totally deserved placement for Tracey Thorn. Record is one the best albums of her career for me. Up there with Walking Wounded, A Distant Shore and Out Of The Woods.

I never got round to the D&C album. I liked the first Max Tundra single but wasn't blown away, is there a notable step up? (I also liked their early bratty stuff if that has any bearing on matters.)
