the hat is great - didn't think a trucker hat could feel "good" and "substantial" when worn.

there's this party we go to every year, it's formal dress but also kind of not, lately I've been going in more and more ridiculous outfits

this year I decided what I want to wear - I want to wear that stupid black and white checkered shirt and white cowboy hat that Garth Brooks is wearing on The Chase album cover. one of the most iconic dumb looks of all time, I think.

but I can't find the shirt! surely it must exist somewhere? all I can find are shirts with the album cover on it, sometimes checkered in the same pattern, which is kind of funny. but not what I'm looking for. where might I find something like this???

Quick google search reveals it's a vintage Mo Betta western shirt. Search ebay/etsy/poshmark etc for Mo Betta i guess. Looks like they're all equally ridiculous even if you don't find the exact shirt.

filson fb group scene report: these guys are kind of weird, definitely richer than me, somehow i doubt any of them are like regular hunting season types, i mean i'm also an outdoorsman fetishist but not straight. filing my flirtation with filson for 10 years from now when i finally live in the pacific nw and have a job that pays me significantly more than 45k a year.
