There are a lot of people who don't like DT. Afaict a lot of them are like yr coastal NPR / Whole Foods demographic. Not well armed. People of color, recent immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals? Also, largely not well armed. Their idea of political action is a strongly worded letter to the editor, or a petition presented to the school board.

Sure there are some lefties with the capacity for righteous violence but not enough, imo, to foment a hot civil war. I just don't buy it as a serious possibility.

You know who's well armed? MAGA chuds, racist-ass good ol' boys, right-wing militia types, preppers, and Proud Boiz and such. That's who I worry about rising up violently if they don't get what they want through normal political means.
