I *think* i like it but my experiences have been mostly confined to the terraces of various football grounds in winter months. I don't think this is an entirely fair test as I'm going to be in love with anything cockles-warming in such nads-shrinking situations.

I can say with confidence, however, that both marmite and vegemite be GROSS. Bovril pwns by default but I shall test it under climate-controlled conditions this weekend and report back.

Smashing - don't forget, good white bread, lightly toasted, generously buttered, with Bovril spread thinly and eaten while still hot. Man, I wonder if I can arrange for this to be my lunch?

I should have a party where all of the finger food is made of marmite/vegemite/bovril.

marmite's a salt lick. in 'edible' form

i bought some bovril yesterday and i had some on toast first, then in a hot drink, and i liked both (i'd realised i couldn't remember it very well because it had been such a long time). i still prefer vegemite on toast but bovril is better for drinking. also, i hate marmite.
