I get repeated collection agency calls for one Carlos Molina, despite having actually called and told some people in an office somewhere that I am not Carlos Molina and that I have no idea who he is. Anyway, I have taken to singing (to the tune of "Carlos Dominguez"): Carlos Molina, an unhappy man. . .

I'm really tempted to tell one of these callers that I killed Carlos Molina, burned his corpse, and buried it on the West Mesa here in Albuquerque, because he wouldn't pay back the money he owed me.

the other day i got that "berserker" song from clerks stuck in my head for some reason and after a while it became "GEIRHONGO."

maybe I should've bought a different brand of spaghetti this week. it's hard to follow cooking instructions when you have "yum yum yum yum, Barilla, illa, illa, eh, eh, eh" running through your head on a loop to the tune of the Rihanna song.

When I was about to watch the movie "Fletch" in the theater in 1985, I convinced my little sister that the Kool and the Gang's "Fresh", which was a hit at the time, was actually called "Fletch" and was in fact the theme for the movie we were about to see. So if I see a reference to to Fletch somewhere "He's Fletch...exciting...he's so exciting to me" starts running through my head.

Whenever I see the phrase "simply (something)-able" I pause for a sec and go all Robert Palmer. You have to pause, though, like in the song.

My brain has recently taken to (when prompted by evangelical uses of 'JC' etc.) started singing "Me and JC got it locked, crazy" a la Money Ain't a Thang.

oh god, "the doors" hit me at the worst times and i annoy myself even thinking about it

that and almost every person i know has a song permanently attached to them. "jessie's girl" and "hey joe" are by far the worst, and people with those names soon learn to avoid me. if their name is two syllables and i can't think of anything better, the "feelings" chorus usually does the trick

for a while there were flyers up around town that read "Cash for Comic Books", which i always heard in my head to the tune of "Flesh for Fantasy"....

I almost forgot this one, whenever I see Fujiya and Miyagi's name, I sing it to "Kokomo"

The word "alcoholism" always triggers "There's nothing wrong with alcoholism!" to the tune of Capitalism by Oingo Boingo. Which then usually gets followed up by "There's nothing wrong with drinking some wine."

Now when I step up in the place, ayo, I step correct...
