there's been coaching attrition for them in every phase--wade phillips doesn't give up 40+ in consecutive weeks i don't think.

it's amazing how getting to play with good QBs seems to singlehandedly heal Martellus Bennett's shoulder

u cant underestimate the rejuvenating power of love felt between a quarterback and his tightends

bennett played 7 total snaps and was in for a medical eval during the game, so clearly he is not 100%

he's not but I also think he B.S'd his way out of GB by slandering a team doctor

its really a strange situation all around, I guess I would care more if the dude had done anything but drop footballs

i seriously doubt bennett was trying to get out or angling for a move. i think he has an injury that he can maybe play through and he just didn't want to take on the risk that entails for a very reduced team with prob no real prospects of competing. pack fans are mad about it but it is 100% reasonable imo. and for all this "slandering" business, what is the reason to doubt anything he claimed?

if u knew the integrity levels of the packers team doctor and the deeply felt connection to the fans u wld understand

the fact that a bunch of Packers and ex-Packers (including Jermichael Finley, who probably spent more time with him than anyone) felt the need to make public statements says something to me

it is understandable from Bennett's POV given where he's at in his career, but still. whole thing is strange.

Got to say Jay Cutler is again looking pretty decent so far tonight. He's made a couple nice throws under some heat.

Don't get what Gruden was saying that was an under thrown ball, Cutler hit Thomas in the numbers in stride 40 yards down field.
