Sorry Dan; I'm going to have to side with John on this one.

Except that I want to have Bloody Marys instead of spending all day Sunday in class.

Sara R-C, Sunday, 13 April 2008 22:39 (eighteen years ago)

I don't know which one of you I want to smack out of frustration first!

Just like old times...

Sara R-C, Sunday, 13 April 2008 22:39 (eighteen years ago)

ow

HI DERE, Sunday, 13 April 2008 22:48 (eighteen years ago)

Aw deX, you need to get a good night's sleep tonight. And take an ibuprofen and drink a bunch of water now!

Oh that worked so nicely!

FB in the hat; Caledonia looking like she has something to say sort of behind him; John on the right with hand in pocket. (Occasional ILXOR subgenius is lurking behind John; I belief that is gff looming in the foreground).

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 00:50 (eighteen years ago)

(Also, extra thx to Mark C for reminding me how the hell to find the photo urls)

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 00:59 (eighteen years ago)

When I have some more energy, I will post more. Maybe I should start an ITR photo thread? (Not necessarily WDYLL)

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 00:59 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, treadmill time, same drill as always.

This is my symbolic procrastination thread bump.

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 01:53 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Monday, 14 April 2008 02:53 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 03:46 (eighteen years ago)

Not scary, kinda depressing.

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 03:46 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 04:21 (eighteen years ago)

Heheh.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 April 2008 04:35 (eighteen years ago)

god, i love phil collins.

tehresa, Monday, 14 April 2008 04:35 (eighteen years ago)

You guys, I don't know if I'm just tired or what, but the ILE poll about Adrian Brody just made me laugh so hard that I am CRYING.

That combined with chocolate milk + gorilla + that SONG = the perfect prelude to studying.

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 04:37 (eighteen years ago)

And now I will read about ACUTE GASTRITIS!!!! YAY!!!

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 04:39 (eighteen years ago)

Acute gastritis was not that exciting. I'm going to head to bed.

'Night all.

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 06:10 (eighteen years ago)

Nighhht. I really got to start huffing some studyz :( exam in two weeks.
Also mah car goes in for operations tomorrow.

wilter, Monday, 14 April 2008 06:14 (eighteen years ago)

that gorilla ad was, in equal measure, the most love and hated commercial to grace british screens last year. if i was in charge of television i'd have a drumming gorilla in every programme on the box.

this (plus many many other reasons) is probably why i'm not.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 14 April 2008 09:01 (eighteen years ago)

So it seems I am spinning some choons at this: http://oibrecords.com/Throw%20Up%20and%20Die%20Flyer%20Front%20200.jpg
on Saturday.

Any itr-ers wanna suggest a track or two to add to the playlist?

(I refused to play the main room so have been given the upstairs "chillout" lounge which means pretty much anything goes.)

Upt0eleven, Monday, 14 April 2008 11:58 (eighteen years ago)

Does it have to be chillout stuff? To Here Knows When maybe? A bit of Neu!?

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:07 (eighteen years ago)

Super Falling Star!

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:07 (eighteen years ago)

all great suggestions - stereolab especially.

i'm going for chillout in the loosest possible sense, which is to mean anything i couldn't get away with in the main room.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:21 (eighteen years ago)

Have you got any Barcelona?

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:27 (eighteen years ago)

I haven't, and until moments ago I was woefully ignorant of them. Based on the citations on their AllMusic page I think they'd fit in nicely - I'm planning on playing as much Devo as I can get away with. Which will be a lot since, ensconsed in their booths, no-one's really gonna be listening anyway.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:35 (eighteen years ago)

Then just stick on Djed by Tortoise and go off and have a few beers.

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:37 (eighteen years ago)

oh this will happen. but in the unlikely event that an attractive indie girl is impressed with a track and wants to know who it is, I'd like to be in position to take responsibility for it being played.

I'm not quite sure why I still want to date indie girls though. I do/have not learned from my mistakes.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 14 April 2008 12:50 (eighteen years ago)

You're at that difficult age :) I still like some of the indie aesthetic but by their 30s they're either toned down and more normal or they're plain loopy.

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:19 (eighteen years ago)

They're nutso in their 20s too. I'm not sure what it is about them... as a rule the deliberately quirky, leg-warmers with fishnets or whatever, look does nothing for me I don't even like chuck taylors. Although girls in polka dots = ROWR.

Upt0eleven, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:43 (eighteen years ago)

OTM

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:47 (eighteen years ago)

But yeah, thing is they're allowed to be nuts in their 20s, that's what 20s are for. I am finding in general women in their 30s - single ones anyway - are very cautious, pretty cynical and willing to take few risks. Hmm.

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:47 (eighteen years ago)

Good morning, bright-eyed American chums! How are you all?

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:49 (eighteen years ago)

hello and good night!

estela, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:54 (eighteen years ago)

mark c, did you post the bovril yet? i hope you are being slow.

estela, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:55 (eighteen years ago)

sup!

Curt1s Stephens, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:55 (eighteen years ago)

hi crutis! nothing.

estela, Monday, 14 April 2008 13:56 (eighteen years ago)

Estela, no, it's still in my kitchen. I am honestly baffled at how to package it so that it won't get broken and won't have American drugs police setting their sniffer dogs on it. What are you doing with yours?

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 14:00 (eighteen years ago)

Hey Cutis!

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 14:00 (eighteen years ago)

i thought i would wrap the vegemite in bubble wrap and put it in a little box for mailing, you can buy those at the post office.

estela, Monday, 14 April 2008 14:20 (eighteen years ago)

and good night again.

estela, Monday, 14 April 2008 14:27 (eighteen years ago)

Ugh I started whimsically pronouncing vegemite "vej-emitty" and now I can't stop. Just like when I see the word "once" and pronounce it "on-thay". I am a prize ponce.

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 14:35 (eighteen years ago)

MORNING ALL

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 15:34 (eighteen years ago)

pon-thay

HI DERE, Monday, 14 April 2008 15:41 (eighteen years ago)

I know :(

Hi Sara!

Mark C, Monday, 14 April 2008 16:00 (eighteen years ago)

Hi Mark!

EVERYONE GUESS WHOSE DAUGHTER IS ACTING COMPLETELY INSANE THIS MORNING

Sara R-C, Monday, 14 April 2008 16:23 (eighteen years ago)

Too late; it's my daughter.

She's lucky that I find her adorable...
