Maybe a bacon icebox would make more sense.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 20:45 (eighteen years ago)

I would probably listen to a band called BACON ICEBOX

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

did u know they make bacon chocolate? i am afraid to try it!

tehresa, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 20:57 (eighteen years ago)

I just need to restock my bookshelves and get some more furniture that isn't from fucking IKEA or the Container Store.

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:06 (eighteen years ago)

Pantry is for kettle chips, hamburger buns and bags of potatoes. I don't need much in the way of kitchen storage.

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:07 (eighteen years ago)

What makes the clown smile? Schlitz.

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:09 (eighteen years ago)

bacon chocolate?! CRAZY

I need more bookshelves, and they're probably going to be from IKEA. Not ideal, but...

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:10 (eighteen years ago)

it is at whole foods!

i also need shelves. i think ikea may be all i can afford. actually can't afford anyhting now. but soon... ikea?

tehresa, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:21 (eighteen years ago)

sooooooooooo not afraid to try bacon chocolate

jergïns, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:22 (eighteen years ago)

I wonder if the local co-op might have it... hmmmm

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:28 (eighteen years ago)

Someone brought bacon chocolate to a FAP a few months ago. It was exactly as you'd imagine it. The main feeling though was that bacon + chocolate = less than the sum of its awesome parts.

Mark C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:30 (eighteen years ago)

Somehow that just makes me think I need to get out more.

BUT I am happy to hear a group's assessment of this product.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:38 (eighteen years ago)

The more important question is who is going to create a bacon chocolate drink for John and FB to enjoy?

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:39 (eighteen years ago)

the MOST important question is who's going to mail it for the ever-expanding array of stuff to taste?

lxy, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:41 (eighteen years ago)

lxy OTM

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:43 (eighteen years ago)

Does bacon chocolate require refrigeration?

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:44 (eighteen years ago)

Chocolate Bacon Bits

^^ My contribution to this discussion. Will buy some when I'm in Brighton next week n report back.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:48 (eighteen years ago)

if you get IKEA bookshelves just be sure to get the ones made with real solid wood. They have a few sets like that now

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:54 (eighteen years ago)

I mean it's still cheap-ass wood but it's a damn sight better than their veneered plywood

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 21:56 (eighteen years ago)

chocolate bacon wood

jergïns, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 22:00 (eighteen years ago)

xpost I have no idea what the one we have from IKEA is, but it is a "Billy" bookshelf. It is decent, but for all I know it is veneered plywood.

I would DEFINITELY listen to a band called CHOCOLATE BACON WOOD

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 22:09 (eighteen years ago)

which is better:

vegemite on veneered plywood, or
marmite on cheap-ass wood, or
bovril on real solid wood

lxy, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 22:14 (eighteen years ago)

Bovril and real wood are the class elements there, so it's a no-brainer.

Beard wearers - when does it stop feeling really itchy? It's only a week since I last shaved but man.

Mark C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 22:26 (eighteen years ago)

Mark is undoubtedly correct about the Bovril plus wood.

As for the beard thing... I got nothin'.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 22:56 (eighteen years ago)

sometimes you just really get a hankering for nothing more than HP brown sauce on a slab of fiberboard, though

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:00 (eighteen years ago)

That very well might be what I serve for dinner tonight.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:09 (eighteen years ago)

HAHA U HOUSE-POOR NOW

oops I meant CONGRATULATIONS

-- HI DERE, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 7:24 PM (4 hours ago)

John Justen, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:43 (eighteen years ago)

That's sweet John.

wilter, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:45 (eighteen years ago)

!!!!

That is AMAZING!

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:48 (eighteen years ago)

Also the temptation to start calling Dan "Captain Schadenfreude" may be fading.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:49 (eighteen years ago)

(or maybe something like, "Glass Is Half Empty Boy"?)

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:50 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, maybe I'll just make do with "deX."

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:53 (eighteen years ago)

glass half full of boy, maybe?

John Justen, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:53 (eighteen years ago)

That sounds duly obscene, which is nice, but saying it out loud quickly might prove to be a challenge.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 9 April 2008 23:56 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 April 2008 01:34 (eighteen years ago)

i am so upset that class was canceled tonight and i was all excited to watch antm and not have to wait for someone to put it online in two days and it was the freaking mid-season recap episode :(

tehresa, Thursday, 10 April 2008 01:36 (eighteen years ago)

i am the proud owner of King Kong AND Batman Begins on hddvd.

wilter, Thursday, 10 April 2008 01:50 (eighteen years ago)

i was so hyped for king kong, but then i saw it and thought it was really boring. i fell asleep about half way through.

Rubyredd, Thursday, 10 April 2008 01:54 (eighteen years ago)

Rubyredd, Thursday, 10 April 2008 02:02 (eighteen years ago)

big move is 2nd weekend of may

John Justen, Thursday, 10 April 2008 02:06 (eighteen years ago)

i am however stocking the fridge with beer tomorrow, so tomorrow may be more accurate

John Justen, Thursday, 10 April 2008 02:07 (eighteen years ago)

John plans to sleep on the floor in front to the refrigerator for best beer access.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 April 2008 03:39 (eighteen years ago)

First half of King Kong kind of hammy; not scary. Not too bad, though.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 April 2008 03:40 (eighteen years ago)

insomnia can suck a bleary-eyed dick bump

stet, Thursday, 10 April 2008 04:09 (eighteen years ago)

So can my ISP. God they suck.

stet, I'm sorry you can't sleep!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 April 2008 04:23 (eighteen years ago)
