i accidentally invited a whole bunch of people to a scramble game on facebook, then deleted myself out of it - thinking that it would delete the whole game. but it doesn't.

Scramble is kind of like computer Boggle, and RR is REALLY good at it. I am slowly, slooooowly improving.

I think the only football movie I've ever watched any of is Rudy, and that is because I was at Notre Dame's sister school for my first year of college - which was the year before Rudy was filmed. Apparently some people I knew wound up as extras.

they filmed a bunch of leatherheads in my hometown. there is a very funny but kind of pathetic nytimes article about the extras trying to be important.

yeah w/ all the sprawl it's actually not THAT small, which is why the sentence is so silly, making it sound like 'woah hueg 7 limos!'

I have never had the chance to be an extra, but I'm starting to think this is probably good because apparently it could distort my sense of reality. (Which, let's face it, is askew anyway.)

I'm also puzzling over them using S.C. to stand in for Duluth, MN, but I've never been to S.C. so maybe it makes all kinds of sense and I just don't know it. (?!)
