HI DERE, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:07 (eighteen years ago)

what happened?

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:11 (eighteen years ago)

wilter i am a happy little vegemite, and i hate marmite.

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:14 (eighteen years ago)

is this the end of a beautiful antipodean friendship???

Rubyredd, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:17 (eighteen years ago)

no but there is a thin smear of gloom on it.

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:20 (eighteen years ago)

...made palatable by the butter of frank amenable discourse.

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:22 (eighteen years ago)

no longer. milo has saved the day. wipe that smear of gloom away!

Rubyredd, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:23 (eighteen years ago)

we're happy little milos, as bright as bright can be

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:27 (eighteen years ago)

Happy little not Ghanaian milos

wilter, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:29 (eighteen years ago)

what happened?

I got hit by about a bazillion Italian words I can barely say that I need to memorize in the next week and a half, combined with learning the following pieces for a concert two weeks away:

Bernstein - Chichester Psalms (a bazillion words of Hebrew at a million words per second)
Pinkham - some silly thing based on the Creation story that's typical Pinkham hard nonsense
Barber - Agnus Dei (set to the music of "Adagio for Strings", super pretty and harder to sing than it looks on paper)

We are also doing Copland's "In The Beginning" but I know that one by heart thanks to doing it a million times with different groups.

I also have to clean up the condo over the next two weeks because we have out-of-town guests coming to stay with us and right now our place is a disaster.

So, I have to clean and study approx 2 hrs of music over the next week, 1 hr of which has to be memorized and 1 hr, 20 min of it that I can't physically say as quickly as the music goes.

me = FUCKED

HI DERE, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:33 (eighteen years ago)

so of course instead of cleaning or studying music I am doing this:

STILL THE GREATEST WEBSITE ON THE PLANET

HI DERE, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:34 (eighteen years ago)

Dan, I will trade you and do all of that if you will be me this week and take my pharmacology test on Thursday. Textbook provided! Um, and maybe I can find you a wig or something.

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 01:34 (eighteen years ago)

Getting on the treadmill yet again ;_;

bump

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 02:05 (eighteen years ago)

LEAVING WORK SOON BUMP

Rubyredd, Monday, 31 March 2008 03:25 (eighteen years ago)

done with treadmill!!!

bump

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 03:56 (eighteen years ago)

So after whining for a bit I got off my ass and folded a shit-ton of laundry and threw away a bunch of useless empty bags. If I do two loads of laundry a night for the next two weeks, I will catch up by the time our guests arrive.

Didn't listen to any of the music I have to learn, although I did grab the Crystal Castles album and put it on my iPhone.

HI DERE, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:03 (eighteen years ago)

yeah well I made a crunk ringtone track using the david lee roth vox track from runnin' with the devil. I have no idea why one of my pals had a david lee roth a cappella mp3 lying around but hey

El Tomboto, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:10 (eighteen years ago)

shit Ned's going to see that and be mad 'cause I still haven't gone back and done any more work on our EP

El Tomboto, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:11 (eighteen years ago)

remy bean, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:28 (eighteen years ago)

home from boredoms bump!

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:42 (eighteen years ago)

also sara i am jealous of your treadmill. i wish i had one in my house.

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:44 (eighteen years ago)

How was Boredoms?

wilter, Monday, 31 March 2008 04:46 (eighteen years ago)

it was ok. i think first time i've seen them completely sober. their set was probably least impressive of the 3 i've seen, BUT i was like 3 ft away from yoshimi and watching her awesome keyboard jamz that close was totally inspiring.

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:02 (eighteen years ago)

xpost I bought it for fifty bucks at a garage sale. It is not state of the art and it is pretty loud, but it is functional. I like the combination of working out and watching a movie while I do it. MULTITASKING YAY

Also, tehresa, I am jealous of your going to see a show!

So I guess Dan is not going to help me with the pharmacology test. SIGH

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:04 (eighteen years ago)

i actually saw 2 shows today! i went to sunday in the park with george w/ one of my classes this afternoon, came home and did homework, then went to boredoms. and now i am taking tomorrow off so that i can finish my homework and do my laundry, but this means i don't get my friday off this week :(

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:07 (eighteen years ago)

Wow - well enjoy your day off!

God I am envious right now.

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:14 (eighteen years ago)

it's not realllly a day off. i have like 203948 homeworks + laundry to do and then class at 6:30. :(

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:15 (eighteen years ago)

That is what all my days feel like lately.

AT LEAST I AM NOT ALONE

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:28 (eighteen years ago)

i don't know how you handle it all + kids! you are a hero.

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:42 (eighteen years ago)

Oh you are sweet.

It is easy: I am not a very good Mom! (Example: tonight 4lex wanted me to read to him. So I read to him from my pharmacology textbook. NICE.)

But thanks for saying so anyway!

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:45 (eighteen years ago)

llooll

wilter, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:45 (eighteen years ago)

And now I had better go to sleep because this day has been insanely long and I actually feel both VERY tired and slightly nauseous (hmmmm, walk on treadmill right after a nap and then dinner... not too surprising there).

Have a good night tehresa! And anyone else who is up and about!

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:46 (eighteen years ago)

good night sara<3

i think you are a hero too.

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:48 (eighteen years ago)

gnight sara!

and 4lex will thank you when he is 17 and people are trying to mix wrong drugs. subconscious childhood bedtime 'stories' will save everyone!

tehresa, Monday, 31 March 2008 05:50 (eighteen years ago)

i mean, uh, your kid is never ever going to misbehave!

wilter, Monday, 31 March 2008 06:34 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 08:28 (eighteen years ago)

sorry dan, i asked you a question hours ago but just as you answered i lost internet for about 3 hrs so i didn't get to say that all sounds terrible but good luck.

estela, Monday, 31 March 2008 11:31 (eighteen years ago)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 31 March 2008 15:03 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 15:34 (eighteen years ago)

MN weather = EXCITING

HI DERE, Monday, 31 March 2008 15:54 (eighteen years ago)

It's not going to be exciting when I'm sleeping with the mannequins tonight because the roads suck. It's going to be CREPEY

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 16:07 (eighteen years ago)

that sounds like a threat from the worlds gayest mafioso

John Justen, Monday, 31 March 2008 16:14 (eighteen years ago)

Since the mannequins always have male faces and haircuts but they also all have breasts, maybe it is!

Sara R-C, Monday, 31 March 2008 16:19 (eighteen years ago)
