good night John.

PS We were there last Friday night and I think the salesguy thought I was insane because I bought a 95 cent Disney Xmas album (for the kids) and then underneath that I had My Bloody Valentine - Loveless and an Indigo Girls c.d.

estela, Friday, 28 March 2008 12:17 (eighteen years ago)

Good morning! Well, except that it is morning. I must sleep more.

I want almonds, too.

Happy anniversary, Rubyredd & Jordan!

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 13:34 (eighteen years ago)

PS to Dan plz come home so we can make a group trip to Cheapo so that I have some direction when I go in there. (Plz come home for, like, a month so that we can socialize with you in many ways, actually. And bring yr wife because I like her AND I want to hear her sing).

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 13:39 (eighteen years ago)

You people. There really is a town called Coalinga and I really had almonds. Now I am in Oakland, so there.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 28 March 2008 14:09 (eighteen years ago)

TAKE THAT

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 14:31 (eighteen years ago)

i think it speaks volumes about my trust in all of you that i just opened a link titled "pickle surprise" without hesitation

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 14:32 (eighteen years ago)

Is it possible that it speaks volumes about you?

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 16:17 (eighteen years ago)

(I'm sorry, John, I just woke up again and have no idea right now if I'm picking at you in a fun way or if now I have GONE TOO FAR. You are right and everyone on this thread is awesome.)

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 16:20 (eighteen years ago)

OH YOU SONOFABITCH no i am not sure it is possible to go too far

MEMO TO MYSELF: LOOK FOR MOUNTAINS EXTENDED MIX LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD, DOUCHE

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

Oh yeah... PRINCE!

guys, I think the pharmacology thing has shaken my brain into stupidity.

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 17:00 (eighteen years ago)

this is not a slight on the rubyredd anniversary deal, but i am very happy to be in a relationship where we collectively pay no attention to anniversaries

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

lol, John and Caledonia = OLD MARRIED COUPLE

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 17:04 (eighteen years ago)

It's been five years since John forgot his anniversary with ILX. (Maybe.)

Yay SF. I sleep now.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 28 March 2008 17:04 (eighteen years ago)

A's parents always make a big deal of our wedding anniversary and we barely realize it is even going on. Then we use it as an excuse to go out to dinner... usually months later.

good night, Ned! (!?)

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 17:05 (eighteen years ago)

lol, ILM is not very understanding of Prince day

HI DERE, Friday, 28 March 2008 18:26 (eighteen years ago)

Also, listening to Planet Earth tracks mixed in with his other work makes them about a bazillion times better.

HI DERE, Friday, 28 March 2008 18:27 (eighteen years ago)

I am, of course, totally unfamiliar with Planet Earth, but am now playing Prince - The Hits/The B-Sides through my computer. Because I have new, different, FUNCTIONAL speakers now! (Yay for A. helping me out!)

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 18:35 (eighteen years ago)

MOUNTAINS EXTENDED MIX

nickalicious, Friday, 28 March 2008 18:40 (eighteen years ago)

You know actually I saw one of my favorite local bands last night...they do an excellent cover of "Controversy". And they did it last night.

MARCH 28 INTERNATIONAL PRINCE AWARENESS DAY

nickalicious, Friday, 28 March 2008 18:57 (eighteen years ago)

I just read through that thread about the movie Purple Rain and I am trying to figure out if I should move it way up in my Netflix queue. I don't think I've ever seen the whole thing.

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 19:31 (eighteen years ago)

you should instead bump "Under The Cherry Moon" and watch the whole thing

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:01 (eighteen years ago)

actually, i have no idea if that or "Graffitti Bridge" have even been released on DVD

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:02 (eighteen years ago)

They are both at netflix. The reviews are kind of amusing. (More amusing than my pharmacology textbook, anyway)

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:13 (eighteen years ago)

I'M BORED.

I was going to start a Curb Your Enthusiasm favorite characters poll but it's too much work.

jessie monster, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:17 (eighteen years ago)

jessie monster, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:27 (eighteen years ago)

I am bored, too, which has nothing to do with the amount of stuff I need to do, which is momentous. I just don't want to do it.

I was thinking of creating a drugs-based mix c.d. for one of my classmates. So tempting.

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:27 (eighteen years ago)

babies are like tiny sausage monsters.

jessie monster, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:27 (eighteen years ago)

CUTE PUPPY

Babies kind of are like that. Especially newborns.

Sara R-C, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:28 (eighteen years ago)

I don't understand why people think they are cute. Toddlers can be cute (when they are not covered in snot or food, which is almost never) but babies are never cute. Also when people say "oh that baby looks like it's mom/dad!" wtf I see no resemblance between you and the sausage person you have constructed.

jessie monster, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:30 (eighteen years ago)

"that baby is breathtaking"

John Justen, Friday, 28 March 2008 20:32 (eighteen years ago)
