(I'm not sure if I should be impressed or offer retroactive sympathy or be appalled that you didn't go to the emergency room or if I should just reconsider any future plans to visit First Avenue ever again)

i would like to forget that i ever read about it

lxy, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:41 (eighteen years ago)

lxy, I apologize to you for asking. Unfortunately, as with many things, there is no turning back.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:44 (eighteen years ago)

Also, the nursing student nutcase in me is kind of disappointed that I wasn't there to see Forked Tongue John.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:45 (eighteen years ago)

you'd be suprised.

John Justen, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:45 (eighteen years ago)

^^^ not sure how to parse that, and fearful to ask

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:46 (eighteen years ago)

HI DERE, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:49 (eighteen years ago)

The extra "s" in "massage" makes that even more disturbing somehow

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 21:59 (eighteen years ago)

FUN FACT: Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (Mr Eko on LOST) is playing Body Massage Heavy Duty in the upcoming live action GI JOE movie.

nickalicious, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:02 (eighteen years ago)

awesome

jergïns, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:03 (eighteen years ago)

THAT IS AWESOME

John Justen, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:06 (eighteen years ago)

I think that may be the only thing that would drive me to see the GI Joe movie.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:08 (eighteen years ago)

Well, unless they also cast Naveen Andrews in it.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:08 (eighteen years ago)

Joseph Gordon-Levitt ... Cobra Commander

waht

HI DERE, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:11 (eighteen years ago)

SERIOUSLY!

nickalicious, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:11 (eighteen years ago)

MOST INEXPLICABLE CASTING CHOICE FOR THE LIVE-ACTION G.I. JOE MOVIE

HI DERE, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:13 (eighteen years ago)

I'm really really tired again! who wants to bet I'm still awake at 4am tomorrow morning anyway?

El Tomboto, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:26 (eighteen years ago)

Sadly, I'd take that bet.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 22:32 (eighteen years ago)

I am so hungry bump

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 March 2008 23:38 (eighteen years ago)

Joseph Gordon-Levitt ... Cobra Commander

oh do i have a hilariously fucked-up story about this that will only be told decidedly OFF-ILX

remy bean, Monday, 24 March 2008 23:48 (eighteen years ago)

Looking forward to the talk about that over drinks in a few days, then!

Ned Raggett, Monday, 24 March 2008 23:51 (eighteen years ago)

yz.

i might need a place to crash on friday night.

remy bean, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 00:25 (eighteen years ago)

Hmmm. If it were just up to me no problem but quite obviously I wouldn't want to presume on my sis and her BF that way; would help if you'd already met! Let's touch base around noon Friday (since I'll almost certainly want to rest for the rest of the morning after I'm in early).

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 00:31 (eighteen years ago)

tonight gff and I will be on opposing drunken trivia teams. i will return with his head on a pike to glorify ITR intelectueffectivity

John Justen, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 00:54 (eighteen years ago)

we really need a coat of arms

John Justen, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 00:56 (eighteen years ago)

what you really need is one of these iphone things that everyone seems to have these days, so that itr can help you win the quiz.

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 00:58 (eighteen years ago)

last time i went to one of these they had a rule that if you wanted to use cell phone/blackberry/iphone you had to go outside or wait til the round was over!

tehresa, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 01:05 (eighteen years ago)

i felt stupid at the last one i went to, because i was with a whole bunch of super smart ppl... but then i felt awesome when i was the only one who knew what lachrimose (sp?) meant.

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 01:15 (eighteen years ago)

John is serious about putting gff's head on a pike, guys.

I'd like to suggest that you just hang him in effigy instead, John; gff seemed like an okay guy when I met him.

Also Rubyredd OTM if the place hasn't caught on to tehresa's rulez

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 01:17 (eighteen years ago)

I'm going to walk on my treadmill and watch Walk the Line and finish up the laundry. Followed by shower followed by snack and reading nursing textbooks.

If someone could just save me the trouble and put my head on a pike, that would be appreciated.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 01:21 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, no one has showed up to behead me, so it's the treadmill again.

SIGH

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 01:47 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:11 (eighteen years ago)

remy bean, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:12 (eighteen years ago)

fable is great

John Justen, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:14 (eighteen years ago)

ok drunk lying down now bump

John Justen, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:16 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah I wouldn't mind hammering assasains fucked creed. and goofy medieval RPGs would also be sweet.

W4LTER, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:18 (eighteen years ago)

assassin's creed reminds me of the scary and weird mystical levels in 'thief', which was my favorite game ever ... except for the scart and weird mystical levels.

remy bean, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:34 (eighteen years ago)

Thief was great. Played that a lot at uni.

W4LTER, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 06:47 (eighteen years ago)

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 11:44 (eighteen years ago)

I am glad that gff survived the evening.

I can't keep track of the video game stuff that exists; we might even have an X-Box for some reason. There is definitely a Gamecube. The kids want a Wii. I have tried none of this. ;_;
