Kids have been home for, like, 5 minutes. I'm ready to sell them already.

It's a tough economy; bargain wisely.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 21:48 (eighteen years ago)

I was willing to pay someone to take them at the time, Ned.

xpost hahaha, YES SUZY THERE IS AN ELEMENT OF THAT. Even when you get pregnant 100% on purpose. I don't know about your friend, but I kind of appreciated that kind of joking.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 21:59 (eighteen years ago)

I couldn't tell if she was pissing herself with laughter or if she just had to 'go' every 10 minutes.

suzy, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:25 (eighteen years ago)

From experience, I can tell you that it was probably a combination.

I had nearly forgotten that aspect of pregnancy somehow. You can't go anywhere without needing to stop for rest room breaks, and laughing too hard really can lead you into trouble fast.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:35 (eighteen years ago)

Also, I think all pregnant women should be warned that the more pregnant you get, the more difficult it is to pee in a cup, which you have to do every time you visit the doctor. Wearing maternity tights and a skirt to the doctor is a BAD IDEA for this reason.

There should really be warnings about this stuff.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:38 (eighteen years ago)

Wearing maternity tights and a skirt to the doctor is a BAD IDEA for this reason.

Your doctor should always wear them, though, especially the male ones.

i just went to a job fair that left me filled with greater despair than before.

i am gonna go drink with hippies.

remy bean, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:46 (eighteen years ago)

remy - enjoy drinking tonight! You're going to find a good job. No sense in stressing yourself out about it.

xpost Ned is 100% correct. They should pee in cups, too, just to even everything up.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:51 (eighteen years ago)

Remz, what work are you trying to find in SF?

suzy, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:51 (eighteen years ago)

Wise re: drinking.

Go to Zeitgeist sometime:

http://zeitgeist.ypguides.net/

My sis's favorite bar in SF, easy BART access. We'll take ya there when I'm up.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:52 (eighteen years ago)

i went to an independent school recruitment fair. i have three years as a classroom teacher, but all the schools turned me down as 'not experienced enough' and i wasted the whole day. still, i met a bunch of really nice people and exchanged numbers ... now i have some SF friends.

zeitgeist looks rad!

remy bean, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:54 (eighteen years ago)

It's VERY rad. Been going there on my SF trips for years.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:56 (eighteen years ago)

I so so SO want to visit SF again.

3 years of experience is "not enough?!" What do they want, BLOOD?!

Have fun tonight, guys. I'm proctoring final exams for the evening... so exciting.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 23:05 (eighteen years ago)

jergïns, Saturday, 15 March 2008 02:50 (eighteen years ago)

I had the most fun proctoring ever. I think the students were all in a good mood because a lot of them were finished with their tests and not leaving until tomorrow... thus, tonight must be party time with no responsibility night. I'm envious!

Sara R-C, Saturday, 15 March 2008 02:52 (eighteen years ago)

hey remy, it's okay. I just checked with HQ and nobody on the surface deserves to survive anyhow. lolololol right?

El Tomboto, Saturday, 15 March 2008 03:16 (eighteen years ago)

Going to bed early; more proctoring tomorrow morning.

Good night!!!

Sara R-C, Saturday, 15 March 2008 03:59 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Saturday, 15 March 2008 14:07 (eighteen years ago)

wow, i have a scorched-earth level hangover today

remy bean, Saturday, 15 March 2008 17:20 (eighteen years ago)

i kind of like it when it's broken... an infinity of possibilities for effusive statements of

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 17:39 (eighteen years ago)

it is like a gaping chest-wound of failure

remy bean, Saturday, 15 March 2008 17:41 (eighteen years ago)

your hangover, or the broken thread title?

John Justen, Saturday, 15 March 2008 17:44 (eighteen years ago)

broken thread title. the hangover is more like validation of a night well-spent

remy bean, Saturday, 15 March 2008 18:05 (eighteen years ago)

sometimes i feel like i am the only person on earth

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:25 (eighteen years ago)

i guess that wouldn't be the worst thing, until i exhausted the world's existing supply of cigarettes, coffee, and booze. i wonder how long it would take.

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:27 (eighteen years ago)

if i were the only person, everything would belong to me, right? i would be such a fancy dresser if all of the clothes in all of the boutiques were mine. damn.

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:29 (eighteen years ago)

no one to admire my swanky wardrobe, though. hmmm. i guess it would be a tragedy after all.

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:30 (eighteen years ago)

sad.

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:30 (eighteen years ago)

the thread title would never be fixed.

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:31 (eighteen years ago)

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:32 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:33 (eighteen years ago)

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:50 (eighteen years ago)

oh hey hi i guess i'm not alone on the planet

lxy, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:50 (eighteen years ago)

TADAH!

John Justen, Saturday, 15 March 2008 19:51 (eighteen years ago)
