It also keeps me from cleaning my bathrooms and stuff, but that probably won't make me insane.

El Tomboto, Friday, 14 March 2008 05:50 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Friday, 14 March 2008 05:51 (eighteen years ago)

john I can instruct her not to vacuum your stubble. futon is always for broez

El Tomboto, Friday, 14 March 2008 05:57 (eighteen years ago)

John LOVES futons. He expressed this very poetically in his NaNoWriMo book.

remy - don't go to Hastings with out an escort for safety!

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 05:58 (eighteen years ago)

remy let me know when in april you will be in dc. e-mail magic

El Tomboto, Friday, 14 March 2008 05:58 (eighteen years ago)

yeah defs tom/sara. i am wondering who i should try to see in chicago. is gbx still there?

remy bean, Friday, 14 March 2008 05:59 (eighteen years ago)

remy, if you visit the T.C. area I will make an effort to find time to FAP. April can be so great in Minnesota, too.

Last I heard gbx had gotten into med school here, but I don't know when he's coming to MN to stay...

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 06:04 (eighteen years ago)

jessie monster, Friday, 14 March 2008 13:45 (eighteen years ago)

Do people call you Sare btw?

Sometimes. I probably don't even notice it when people do it, tbh. On the other hand, when the two people who call me "Sare Bear" call me that, I can hardly miss it. (It doesn't help that both of them have LOUD voices).

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 13:56 (eighteen years ago)

I am up but I'm going to lie back down now. I am trying to not get whatever virus 4lex has.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 13:57 (eighteen years ago)

I hope your mornings are all gr8!!!

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 13:57 (eighteen years ago)

gr8080, you mean

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 14:36 (eighteen years ago)

i don't want my morning to be gr8080, i want it to be calm and collected. no dice tho; gotta go to a job fair in 15 minutes.

problems: no résumé b/c no printer, only brought one button-down shirt that is two sizes too small, i look like a pressed ham.

remy bean, Friday, 14 March 2008 15:04 (eighteen years ago)

Plz to be having the good job luck.

HI DERE, Friday, 14 March 2008 15:49 (eighteen years ago)

lol I guess I should have checked other ITR threads first oops

HI DERE, Friday, 14 March 2008 15:50 (eighteen years ago)

There's probably a place for that image on every ITR thread, Dan.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 16:17 (eighteen years ago)

The motion of the picture finally makes John's facial expression make sense.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 16:18 (eighteen years ago)

True.

Best spam e-mail sender address in a while, as received just now on a work account:

...is he now.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 16:18 (eighteen years ago)

Those addresses are always so bizarre.

"Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle." I don't even want to know what they think that means!

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 16:42 (eighteen years ago)

Friday afternoon is alright for procrastinating bump

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 18:03 (eighteen years ago)

curry rice om nom nom

jessie monster, Friday, 14 March 2008 18:05 (eighteen years ago)

Yum. I'm jealous. My pita-and-hummus lunch thing is getting really boring.

My afternoon procrastination technique is new and different: watching an episode of Buffy with my 9-year-old, who is home sick. It's so clear that I'm never going to finish my work because I just don't WANT to.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 18:19 (eighteen years ago)

I just got a package full of Bo-Tan Rice Candy and Kraft Deluxe Mac'n'Cheese. Fabulous!

suzy, Friday, 14 March 2008 18:34 (eighteen years ago)

Mmmmmm snacks.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 19:22 (eighteen years ago)

Kids have been home for, like, 5 minutes. I'm ready to sell them already.

Please consider adopting two "lively" kids.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 20:29 (eighteen years ago)

One of my friends is newly pregnant and on Sunday I was (jokingly) all "NOW LOOK WHAT YOU DID."

suzy, Friday, 14 March 2008 21:11 (eighteen years ago)

Kids have been home for, like, 5 minutes. I'm ready to sell them already.

It's a tough economy; bargain wisely.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 21:48 (eighteen years ago)

I was willing to pay someone to take them at the time, Ned.

xpost hahaha, YES SUZY THERE IS AN ELEMENT OF THAT. Even when you get pregnant 100% on purpose. I don't know about your friend, but I kind of appreciated that kind of joking.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 21:59 (eighteen years ago)

I couldn't tell if she was pissing herself with laughter or if she just had to 'go' every 10 minutes.

suzy, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:25 (eighteen years ago)

From experience, I can tell you that it was probably a combination.

I had nearly forgotten that aspect of pregnancy somehow. You can't go anywhere without needing to stop for rest room breaks, and laughing too hard really can lead you into trouble fast.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:35 (eighteen years ago)

Also, I think all pregnant women should be warned that the more pregnant you get, the more difficult it is to pee in a cup, which you have to do every time you visit the doctor. Wearing maternity tights and a skirt to the doctor is a BAD IDEA for this reason.

There should really be warnings about this stuff.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:38 (eighteen years ago)

Wearing maternity tights and a skirt to the doctor is a BAD IDEA for this reason.

Your doctor should always wear them, though, especially the male ones.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:39 (eighteen years ago)

i just went to a job fair that left me filled with greater despair than before.

i am gonna go drink with hippies.

remy bean, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:46 (eighteen years ago)

remy - enjoy drinking tonight! You're going to find a good job. No sense in stressing yourself out about it.

xpost Ned is 100% correct. They should pee in cups, too, just to even everything up.

Sara R-C, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:51 (eighteen years ago)

Remz, what work are you trying to find in SF?

suzy, Friday, 14 March 2008 22:51 (eighteen years ago)

Wise re: drinking.

Go to Zeitgeist sometime:

http://zeitgeist.ypguides.net/

My sis's favorite bar in SF, easy BART access. We'll take ya there when I'm up.
