my main problem with papa john's has always been that their crust microwaves really badly. otherwise perfectly acceptable anti-lunch.

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 08:44 (eighteen years ago)

every crust on every crusted foodstuff ever microwaves badly.

estela, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 08:56 (eighteen years ago)

failure of more drinking directly related to inability to find bottle opener in warzone mess of a house

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 08:57 (eighteen years ago)

I guess so. but not all of them go quite as gummy and chewy as papa johns. I suppose it is the price of freshness.

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 08:57 (eighteen years ago)

xpost.

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 08:58 (eighteen years ago)

papa johns is obv not the same in the east coast world

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 08:58 (eighteen years ago)

by this i mean that the "mild cheese chilito" in MN carries no impression of freshness

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:00 (eighteen years ago)

TOMBOT YOU ARE LIVING A "FRESHNESS" LIE

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:01 (eighteen years ago)

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:04 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:05 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:11 (eighteen years ago)

EXOTIC!

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:12 (eighteen years ago)

i feel guilty because i eat so fucking badly it's not even funny anymore (esp cuz it makes me mental) and jordan spent ages yesterday figuring out this shopping list for me, all these foods i like that i'll actually eat that are actually good for me, and he made me promise to get all this stuff tonight and i didn't because thinking about food gives me hives lately.

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:12 (eighteen years ago)

my grandad used to eat spam and tinned corned beef when i was little - i LOVED that stuff

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:13 (eighteen years ago)

my state is the origin of spam

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:14 (eighteen years ago)

we even have a spam festival

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:15 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:15 (eighteen years ago)

in this way, i am wasting my life

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:15 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:16 (eighteen years ago)

during college, FB and I made friendship spamulets for each other out of a shared spam can

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:18 (eighteen years ago)

it is possible that we were chemically disabled at the time

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:19 (eighteen years ago)

i stopped wearing mine due to small cuts from the sharp edges of the tin-snipped can

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:25 (eighteen years ago)

IN THIS WAY I AM ALSO WASTING MY LIFE

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:25 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:26 (eighteen years ago)

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:32 (eighteen years ago)

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 09:33 (eighteen years ago)

GOOD NIGHT

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 11:14 (eighteen years ago)

good night

estela, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 11:49 (eighteen years ago)

You move out of the state, you miss out on getting a spamulet.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 13:30 (eighteen years ago)

the T was really hot today.

jessie monster, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 13:34 (eighteen years ago)

I should have taken the T, then I wouldn't have hit black ice on Storrow Drive and tapped some woman from Watertown's bumpber.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 13:35 (eighteen years ago)

there was black ice on storrow?? damn.

I dunno, I was sweaty and nauseated on the T, maybe moreso than interacting with an angry woman from Watertown would make me.

jessie monster, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 13:38 (eighteen years ago)

Dear Dan - is your car okay? (Are you okay?) That can shake a person up.
PS I would make you a spamulet if I knew how.

Dear John, I hope you recover from whatever the hell you imbibed last night. I'm sure you're sleeping it off.

Dear Everyone, I will be on your TEEM, but I refuse to look at your anagrams.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 13:52 (eighteen years ago)

The only saving grace was that she wasn't angry. I was very scared thought because I grabbed an old, expired copy of my registration out of my glove compartment box as opposed to the current one.

The thing that irritated me the most is that her bumper was all messed up anyway, so this is basically an excuse for her to replace it. The end result was a new scratch on both of our cars. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 13:53 (eighteen years ago)

That is just frustrating. I'm sorry!

You are making me realize how unwise I am sometimes about driving in questionable weather if I don't absolutely have to. The night that the roads were so bad on the way to class I got there and I could have stayed overnight. I did not, however, do this. Why? I can't live without my own toothbrush and a change of underwear.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 14:03 (eighteen years ago)

Dan, I'm glad she wasn't angry anyway. But in the case of black ice, no one has the right to be angry.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 14:04 (eighteen years ago)

I'm glad it wasn't a big deal, Dan! I guess driving in Boston you learn to take that stuff in stride.

jessie monster, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 14:27 (eighteen years ago)

Well, it helped that there was no real collision (at least not from my side of things) and minimal damage.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 15:37 (eighteen years ago)

I suppose if you're going to be in an accident, that is the kind to be in. But it still sucks.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 16:03 (eighteen years ago)

DAERIST ITR,

what should I eat for lunch???

thai rice foods? pizzas? curry rice? fried tofu? taco bell?

jessie monster, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 16:46 (eighteen years ago)

yes

John Justen, Tuesday, 11 March 2008 16:53 (eighteen years ago)
