estela, Thursday, 6 March 2008 10:09 (eighteen years ago)

lol i live v near the bur1eigh baers leagues klub, alas i have never been. also alas: i have only been fishing maybe twice in my life.

Although ---I'm actually meant to be enjoying the "famous gc night life" this sat night coz an acquaintance (who is a twat) is having his bday party at some "swanky" place at main beach , but i will pike and not go. gf will be unimpressed >:O

W4LTER, Thursday, 6 March 2008 10:47 (eighteen years ago)

..that didn't really need 'and not go'

W4LTER, Thursday, 6 March 2008 10:49 (eighteen years ago)

hellooooo itr i just did the work of a thousand men.

^^^ok not actually true, but i have been doing the work of about 3 people because everyone i work with sucks ass bigtime. but the upshot is that due to my 'attitude adjustment' recently i am HELLA (i'm practising the slang for living in oakland) popular... shit, i'm raking in about 10x more tips than anyone else, and even better is that my customers keep telling my boss how awesome i am. i still hate my job but it's bearable when my fragile little ego gets stroked.

Rubyredd, Thursday, 6 March 2008 10:53 (eighteen years ago)

thank god walter and ruby, i was so alone here, it was awful.

walter, i have never been to the burl3igh b3ars but they advertise it at the movies and it looks hilariously bad, i am a bit obsessed with it, i fear i will end up there one day and it won't be funny at all, just dispiriting.

ruby, i met a girl from nz today who reminded me of you, she was very cute. i was kindly disposed towards her from the outset because of the similarity, i beamed at her.

estela, Thursday, 6 March 2008 11:09 (eighteen years ago)

i hope not too broadly, and not for too long.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 14:17 (eighteen years ago)

yay my iPhone is back in working order

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 14:46 (eighteen years ago)

terrible morning moment of putting on cold shoes

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 15:28 (eighteen years ago)

Did remy survive the horniness?

Will Sara be a gay man cook?

Will John's feet freeze in his shoes and snap off, causing the Canadian police to initiate inquiries?

Tune in tomorrow, or in two minutes?

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 15:32 (eighteen years ago)

yes
oddly, yes
no

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 15:36 (eighteen years ago)

Sara should have a TV show and a theme song.

"Sara R-C, she cooks today!
But she is a man -- and secretly gay!"

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 15:39 (eighteen years ago)

cook

stupid sleep-deprived vision

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:02 (eighteen years ago)

Well now you're awake.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:10 (eighteen years ago)

In theory

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:15 (eighteen years ago)

Cooking John's toes should warm them right up.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:38 (eighteen years ago)

...and, served with a bit of basil, they will make a lovely spring appetizer!!!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:39 (eighteen years ago)

well that's my desire for lunch taken care of

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:42 (eighteen years ago)

whoa, hungover. i really cannot afford to get drunk in this house, or some hideous hijinks are gonna ensue.

in other words: last night i got walked in on when i was in the bathroom. culprit was my cousin's weird little live-in boytoy-for-pay-maybe. 'oh, you're in here' he said, and made no move to leave. i looked back at him, tiny, hairless, svelte like an alopeciaed gazelle, and in some sort of a drunken stupor i said 'you remind me of a bald monkey.'

he was upset.

later, my cuz's cat pooped on the floor. neither my cousin nor the svelte gazelle would take care of the mess, so i picked it up, threw it in the trash and washed my hands. cuz & gazelle screamed, cried, and freaked out at 'what a nasty boy' i was. later, the cat did the same thing on the couch. so i went over, picked up two crusty cat poop-balls, and threw one at each of them.

that shut 'em up.

actually, it didn't, and i had to go to mcdonald's to buy them chicken nuggets at midnight.

sobriety hoy

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:46 (eighteen years ago)

I thought you were getting out of LA to relax.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:50 (eighteen years ago)

i have taken to wearing headphones plugged into nothing more than my pocket

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 16:56 (eighteen years ago)

remy, your situation sounds amusing, but perhaps untenable for more than a few days. What's your next move?

(Also, what the hell do your cousin and his boyfriend do when their cat poops in an inappropriate place? Just leave it and call it part of the decor?!)

It is shockingly easy to gross Dan out xpost

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 17:03 (eighteen years ago)

Oh, so you want to put John's toes in your mouth?

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 17:03 (eighteen years ago)

No, in YOUR mouth.

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 17:33 (eighteen years ago)

He gets (even more) jittery.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 17:35 (eighteen years ago)

I promise you that I have never so much as considered getting anywhere near John's toes.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 17:36 (eighteen years ago)

It's really not a very good thread at all but I really have to LOL at Curt1s posting LJ's Facebook commentary re: that vacuum cleaner thread.

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 18:04 (eighteen years ago)

some of those brits are really fucking nasty on that thread, it got me upset.

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 18:06 (eighteen years ago)

Well, looking at the ppl who got nasty, is it really a surprise? It's the same folks who always advocate beating the shit out of ppl.

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 18:21 (eighteen years ago)

yeah, i know. i should be immune to their particular charms.

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 18:22 (eighteen years ago)

uh-oh, is title gone?

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 19:11 (eighteen years ago)

ruby, i met a girl from nz today who reminded me of you, she was very cute. i was kindly disposed towards her from the outset because of the similarity, i beamed at her.

awww <3 <3 <3 i'm sure she appreciated your beaming, lengthy smile! i am bumping before i go spend the next 8hrs in shoe hell, followed by 5hrs in waitressing hell.

Rubyredd, Thursday, 6 March 2008 19:14 (eighteen years ago)

xpost It looks like it is still there.

Sorry to slack in my duties; we're taking Cutty Sark to be put to sleep this afternoon.

Rubyredd - give 'em hell yourself!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 19:17 (eighteen years ago)

aw, that sucks

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 19:26 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, it kind of does. I was doing okay until J got really upset about it on the way to school. Then it was tears all around.

If there's an upside, it is that Cutty Sark is very old and it is obviously the right thing to do. She's not eating or drinking anymore; she can't make it much longer.

But we'll miss her.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 19:35 (eighteen years ago)

sad pet story prevents my usual blast bump style

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:44 (eighteen years ago)

Sorry to be so depressing today. We just got back from the vet and I have a blinding headache from crying. But it was very peaceful.

I have to go get the kids in a few minutes and I have to try to hold it together here.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:48 (eighteen years ago)

*good thoughts and love for all*

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:50 (eighteen years ago)

:/ i'm sorry sara, good luck talking w. the little people.

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:51 (eighteen years ago)

Perhaps a dancing squid will help distract you from your sorrows:

...Then again, perhaps not.

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:52 (eighteen years ago)

just remember, whenever bad things happen, in some small way, it is probably Fluffy Bears fault

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:53 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 20:54 (eighteen years ago)
