HOW CAN THE PRIMARY THREAD STILL BE GETTING POSTS

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 16:52 (eighteen years ago)

They were talking Bloom County for a while, which made it less painful.

Also lol @ P3rry.

HI DERE, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

P3rry cracks me up. I don't know how drunk he was at the time, but he complained to me that because I was married, we "couldn't make out." For about a second, I thought about promising that if anything ever happened to A. that he'd be the first person I made out with, but then I thought... hmmmm, maybe not.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 17:12 (eighteen years ago)

honest-to-god headline in campus newspaper: MacArthur: Call him Locus, J-Lo, Ja-Lokie, he'll be like 'What's up?'

jessie monster, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 17:28 (eighteen years ago)

I TAKE CREDIT.

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 19:05 (eighteen years ago)

HI DERE, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 19:51 (eighteen years ago)

i just realized my ups driver looks EXACTLY like the ice truck killer from Dexter season one

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:36 (eighteen years ago)

this is unsettling

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

i am comitted to keeping this thread title alive because it is v v annoying in all the right ways

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

I'm so sorry for him. That dude was the opposite of sexy somehow. (Dexter himself though... not so bad!)

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

Also you maybe want to avoid being alone with that guy.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:41 (eighteen years ago)

(Best looking person of entire cast of Dexter: dude who plays Doakes. LOVE HIM)

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:41 (eighteen years ago)

The guy who owns the record store here in town looks bizarrely like James Woods.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:45 (eighteen years ago)

blah blah work sux bump

HI DERE, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:45 (eighteen years ago)

Must go pick the kids up from school bump

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 20:54 (eighteen years ago)

Home safe bump?

HI DERE, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 21:27 (eighteen years ago)

Safe, alive, and J has already changed into a "princess dress."

I must now make a fruitless effort to get my hands to warm up again.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 21:28 (eighteen years ago)

wait, which record store?

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 21:30 (eighteen years ago)

i has worked in all this northfield record store

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 21:31 (eighteen years ago)

I don't know how long it has been here; Fine Groove Records. It's on Division (although, really, where else would it be). I haven't been down there in months, but it's on the Econofoods (formerly More 4) side of the street - I think just down from Hogan Brothers.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 21:35 (eighteen years ago)

(omg I need a Hogan Bros sandwich RIGHT NOW)

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 21:35 (eighteen years ago)

random avoiding my homework for a moment bump

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:24 (eighteen years ago)

MORE 4 IS GONE :(:(:(:(:(

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:26 (eighteen years ago)

that should be followed by some of this ?!?!?!?!!??!?! business

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:26 (eighteen years ago)

is this fine groove by the library? if so that dude is a DICK

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:27 (eighteen years ago)

i did however exploit his ignorance of vinyl pricing for several years out of spite

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:27 (eighteen years ago)

Well, I still think of it as MORE 4 myself. Econofoods is just boring. Also Petricka's is entirely gone and there's, like, condo retirement homes there or something. Instead there is a Cub Foods on Hwy 3 toward Dundas. It sucks. Same owners; way poorer customer service.

I guess Fine Groove is sort of by the library, in the sense that the library is on the same side of Division... the two buildings are a few blocks apart. That being said, downtown Northfield businesses seem to be playing musical building and it could be the same store/same guy. NO IDEA.

I can't speak for his prices (like I would have a clue) or his persona. I just know that he looks exactly like James Woods. Whenever I see him in town I wonder what he's doing away from the set of SHARK.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:38 (eighteen years ago)

OH SHIT

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:49 (eighteen years ago)

A SHARK

John Justen, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:49 (eighteen years ago)

hahaha, have you ever seen that show? It's terrible! I saw part of one episode while waiting to watch the news one night.

The plot was about a plastic surgeon trading plastic surgery in exchange for sex. I'm sure this means I'm a terrible person, but I considered that for a second and said, "HEY, THAT'S A REALLY GOOD DEAL!"

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 5 March 2008 22:52 (eighteen years ago)

It's apparently Thursday already; here in the US we just don't know it yet bump

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 00:31 (eighteen years ago)

hungry. irritable. still at work. bump.

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 01:20 (eighteen years ago)

I hope you get home soon and get some food. I'm on the phone with my Dad working out last minute stuff with his checkbooks. FUN

I have big, exciting treadmill and homework plans later. BE JEALOUS ITR

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 01:40 (eighteen years ago)

I'm also hungry, irritable and at work. I kind of got angry at a secretary before and a coworker said 'shiiit, what is up with you today?' :D

W4LTER, Thursday, 6 March 2008 01:42 (eighteen years ago)

cousin and his boytoy are fucking bitchy, bitchiness is contagious, i am gonna come down with gay-bitchy measles

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 01:56 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Thursday, 6 March 2008 02:00 (eighteen years ago)

OK NOW I AM DRINKING A BEER ALL IS WELL

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 03:00 (eighteen years ago)

Is it a gay bitchy beer, in honor of Remy's plight?

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 6 March 2008 03:25 (eighteen years ago)

it is black label. maybe?

John Justen, Thursday, 6 March 2008 04:09 (eighteen years ago)

Obviously the answer is yes.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 04:20 (eighteen years ago)

Done with treadmill walk to War of the Worlds.

Tom Cruise kind of scares me.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 04:20 (eighteen years ago)

yes

HI DERE, Thursday, 6 March 2008 05:28 (eighteen years ago)

In a way, the movie worked okay because he wasn't playing a likeable character anyway. It was good treadmill fare due to multiple actions scenes with explosions.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 6 March 2008 05:56 (eighteen years ago)

oh gawd, they are talking about carrie fisher and j/oing each other

remy bean, Thursday, 6 March 2008 05:58 (eighteen years ago)
