The bad thing is that I think we might have to have Cutty Sark, our older cat, put to sleep this week. She's just not doing well. We got her right after we got married and she's sooooo MY kitty and it just makes me really sad.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 04:39 (eighteen years ago)

That's really bad news Sara, I'm sorry to hear it.

W4LTER, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 04:42 (eighteen years ago)

Thanks W4lter. Yeah, it sucks. She's had a long, good life and everything but it still sucks.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 04:48 (eighteen years ago)

Yuh I remember when I was about 21 the family cat who been around my whole life died, I was v cut up. She was a great cat.

W4LTER, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 04:55 (eighteen years ago)

Aw, your cat really lived a very long time!

Unfortunately, this next week is the week with a million assignments due and a big test-out at the end as this first nursing class ends, so I feel like I'm going to maybe have to say good bye in this awfully rushed way. But maybe that's a good thing in some way.

(or maybe she'll magically get better overnight, but I kind of doubt it)

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 05:07 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 06:07 (eighteen years ago)

I feel like I should write about something cheerier than impending cat death.

Let's see... I'm still laughing to myself about FB drunkenly explaining my husband to me on Sat. night. (This is funny mainly because FB has met my husband maybe 4 times while I have been married to my husband for twelve and a half years.)

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 06:07 (eighteen years ago)

Hi John. Thanks for the offer of your cat, but I think you'll change your mind when you sober up.

Also I haven't quite forgiven you for telling me that I was "too short" to play football the other night.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 06:08 (eighteen years ago)

Okay I'm over it now.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 06:09 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 06:11 (eighteen years ago)

W4LTER, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 08:44 (eighteen years ago)

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the ITR.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the ITR.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the ITR about it:

"ITR, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The ITR replied:

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

BUMP

John Justen, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 15:38 (eighteen years ago)

GOOD WORK YOU GUYS!!!!

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 15:39 (eighteen years ago)

It is funny how, no matter what time I wake up, I never like to do actually get out of bed.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 15:43 (eighteen years ago)

You all crack me up, though.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 15:43 (eighteen years ago)

Blessings upon you, my children.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 16:00 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:17 (eighteen years ago)

I think it's more "have you noticed that Jesus hair has a NED?"

HI DERE, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:18 (eighteen years ago)

So you're saying that praying to Ned will do us no good?!

This is truly ;_;

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:23 (eighteen years ago)

It'll do plenty of good.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:29 (eighteen years ago)

HI DERE, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:33 (eighteen years ago)

Maybe Ned can help my grades somehow.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:34 (eighteen years ago)

How much better do you want than 100%????

HI DERE, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:34 (eighteen years ago)

Hey, I have a lot of papers due this week and a big test-out! There's no guarantee that I'll get good grades on those.

MAYBE I'LL FAIL, WHO KNOWS?!

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:37 (eighteen years ago)

JESUS HAIR KNOWS

HI DERE, Tuesday, 4 March 2008 17:37 (eighteen years ago)
