i've been reading 'bleak house' for weeks and weeks.

his dark materials are like receiving a drunk blowjob: starting off full of promise, until they go on too long and your enthusiasm wanes, followed by a payoff makes you kind of embarrassed and guilty.

no way! 'his dark materials' is way cool. i got to read all three books for a class on children's fantasy lit. very engaging. and 'journey' is good, it's just... hard.

Bleak House is a fine book until Dickens decides to milk a hundred page car chase at the end.

I thought His Dark Materials were all pretty good, although I'll agree that the ending was kind of anticlimactic. Maybe not as much as remy thought, though!
