yeah i dont think it makes a huge difference for like cross-country flights but if youre going to like JAPAN from the east coast id take advantage! you sleep better and feel better when you get off the plane

If I get hired they are paying for my flight so I may be stuck. but I might need to explain that I can't do a two and a half hour flight without being all "OH MY GOD GET ME OFF OF THIS PLANE."

I usually prefer to have a direct flight, regardless of how many hours it is, but that might just be my dread of trying to entertain two kids in an airport.

When I went to Japan, we took three flights, as in 1996 there was no direct Minneapolis-Narita trip. Every freaking flight had Ace Ventura: Pet Detective as the in-flight film. NOT GOOD
