yeah, basically he's incredibly narcissistic and thoughtless, which is one of the reasons i haven't seen him in so long. he wants everything on his own terms, and when i refused to go along with that, that was the end of it. i told my boss to make sure that everyone knows not to give out any of my details - contact info or work schedule - if he comes back.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with that, Rubyredd. Just showing up like that out of the blue, without warning you in advance, was pretty thoughtless, I think.

I got A. a Valentine's Day present, but it is pretty boring. It's a DVD: The Simpson's Movie.

it totally relied on blood for scary effect, no lolz, and totally empty/predictable story line. just nothing at all original or new. even the vampires were totally boring and unoriginal. and the logic is pretty shit - the whole premise of them lasting 30 days is bullshit and makes no sense, considering the situation they're in. wait till it comes out on dvd.

if you haven't seen no country for old men, go see that instead. it's fantastic, and way more disturbing.

fuck knows why i even let myself be convinced to go see it - i HATE horror movies, and have no stomach for them. i really like action horror like the blade movies (yes i loved all three, and i don't care how shit everyone said the last one was), and i like super violent movies like kill bill but plain old horror just freaks me out.

i had to rent the lake house to watch when i got home, just so i could sleep.

I liked no country old man. It was good. I also saw Superbad the other night -- why the fuk didn't i see that al cine??? Easily the best character was the crepey dude who gives them a lift to that party.

whatever's wrong with our lxy, i can tell you it's work-related. because in her personal life she just found out today that she gets to go to montreal for a week's vacation, two weeks from tomorrow.

I saw Cloverfield the other day too, I liked it. Except there was this mother who brought her tribe of little shitheads along to the film with her, they sat behind us and talked the whole way through.

I don't see scary movies very often because they freak me out. Cloverfield was pretty fun, though. No kids in the theater I saw it in; only two other people, in fact!

I also usually don't see movies in the theater because it's expensive and if I'm going to go out with someone, I'd usually rather interact with them than watch something.

I think I'm becoming the Grumpy Old Mom.
