Someone blocked us in in a parking garage and we've been waiting 40 minutes for someone to help us; now some dude is attempting to break into the car because they don't have the keys. He's set off the car alarm 3 times now. Both J and I have stuff at work we need to do. Fucking hell.

I had a crazy shift last night and then I had a crazy dream afterward... that John had accidentally murdered someone and then decided to frame deX's MOTHER for it. And deX was going along with it.

I woke up very disoriented and wondering why those two were trying to get me to go along with it (and also why they told me in the first place).

Verdict: crazy shifts plus weird audio books plus caffeine = maybe not such a good plan.

I'm alive, just super busy. Yesterday started an 8 day stretch of days off, which sounds relaxing... but (irony alert) I was stuck all day in HSTNGS today with J. I put her in the local theater camp, which is only four mornings all summer - but she stretched the day out to involve dusting bottles at Mark's store, going to lunch and spending until 3 pm hanging around with her Grandma Jane. Then I came home and had zero time for myself yet again bc she wanted tons more attention... grrrr.

She's going to be 10 on Thursday and I love her to death but OMG I need a few non-work, non-family days.

Upside: 4l3x is 14 and basically amuses himself all day, plus he just asked if we could stay up and watch an MST3K after J goes to sleep. Okay, as long as I can crochet or x stitch while we watch, I'm fine with that!
