lxy, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 17:07 (eighteen years ago)

xpost to Dan - politely but firmly?

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 17:31 (eighteen years ago)

"Honey, I don't want an extra $100 badly enough to sign away more of my WoW time." <--- bad tactic?

HI DERE, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 18:54 (eighteen years ago)

Well, it might be better to say something about wanting to spend more time with her... or just claim busy-ness is stressing you out or something?

Or you could try to get her into WoW. Then neither of you would want to leave the house.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

Tried getting her into WoW. SO NOT GONNA HAPPEN

If I say I want to spend more time with her and then spend all or in fact any of that time playing WoW, I will be killed.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 20:58 (eighteen years ago)

Definitely go for the stressed out excuse. ;)

Or maybe a gentle, "please check with me before you offer my time for jobs; I might have a time conflict."

Whatever you do, don't get into a big fight, because apparently you can only have so many fights before your relationship is inevitably doomed or something.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 21:44 (eighteen years ago)

THAT NUMBER IS TWELVE

John Justen, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 21:45 (eighteen years ago)

yeah and then you go get fucked up troll stalker crushes on random other married people who provide daycare for your spawn and have to ask the intertrons about how fucked up you are

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 21:49 (eighteen years ago)

UH OH I HAVEN'T BEEN COUNTING GUYS

Thanks for the warning, Tom. I think I need to read that thread more closely. (My excuse: I was out all afternoon)

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 21:51 (eighteen years ago)

no, you don't need to read it at all.

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 21:54 (eighteen years ago)

Tom, I appreciate your valiant and chivalrous efforts to save me, but it's probably a lost cause.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 21:57 (eighteen years ago)

Captain Save-A-Student-Nurse

HI DERE, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 22:15 (eighteen years ago)

It's an endearing impulse, unless of course he's only doing it in the hopes that I will save him with my future mad medical skillz somehow.

Considering I'm half panicked about being tested on taking blood pressures, right now the latter seems pretty far-fetched.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 5 February 2008 22:27 (eighteen years ago)

got my grade for the postcard print project: A

Rubyredd, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 00:07 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 00:17 (eighteen years ago)

PS to Minnesotans - have fun caucusing tonight. We are going to leave soon to at least get our Presidential preference ballots in!

I am ridiculously excited about staying up tonight to watch returns.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 00:18 (eighteen years ago)

hello, ruby thank you for my nimble smurfette, i love her.

estela, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 02:03 (eighteen years ago)

Back from caucus. We just cast our Presidential preference and left. That alone took over an hour, due to INSANE number of people. We had to wait in line just to get in to the middle school (which is a pretty good sized school). I took some pictures and will try to get them up via flickr - after the kids are in bed.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 02:08 (eighteen years ago)

I heard CT might set a record for turnout today.

jessie monster, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 02:23 (eighteen years ago)

holy shit there were an unbelieveable amount of people at the caucus tonight.

John Justen, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 03:07 (eighteen years ago)
