sadly no, we were disorganized in terms of cooler smuggling and didn't get our shit together enough to bring our beers into the pool area

we made up for it by going back to our cabin and drinking everything we could before dinner, after which we drank more

other things I learned:

- today's 20somethings love Florence + the Machine, hate Alexander O'Neal
- ppl who brag about their skiing chops often can't ski well
- if you spent most of your childhood skiing once a week, you don't have to worry too much about forgetting how to ski because it will come back to you within 15 minutes

in the way back times, the bear ends up wearing J's bra on its head. no one knows how this happens, but it's pretty hilarious

with life and everything i really don't do a lot in HSTNGS beyond sleeping here, but with the sun coming out i'm remembering how much i miss living in view of a river. reminds me of home i guess. shit's not bad.

Buck Hill = training wheels, but I'll never forget the time I saw some teen girl learning how to ski on the bunny hill, and realizing far too late she didn't actually know how to stop, and crashing into the whole line of people waiting for the tow rope.
