microwave burrito bump

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:32 (eighteen years ago)

tom, do you have trader joes out there?

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:35 (eighteen years ago)

cuz i'm having some sort of love affair w. their microwave burritos lately

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:35 (eighteen years ago)

we have tj's but right now I'm tearing up a cedarlane BURRITO GRANDE

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:45 (eighteen years ago)

I have heard rumors of Trader Joe's somewhere in the Twin Cities metro, which obv. isn't Tom but I am desperate for food ideas a lot of the time. I kind of feel like I'm having the opposite of a love affair with food. I am hungry and I want to eat something, but I can't figure out what, and the whole idea of it just leaves me kind of cold.

This would be awesome if I didn't actually need to eat, but it seems that I do.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:46 (eighteen years ago)

and it's gone. now we brew a cup of SLEEPYTIME and crawl in to bed like some kind of pussy who has to get up in the morning for mandatory REMEDY HELPDESK SYSTEM TRAINING fuck you fuck ass shit fuck fuck bitch ass shit fuck

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:48 (eighteen years ago)

Tom, I hope you can sleep. My husband is doing help desk stuff right now and I kind of think he hates it. Training for it sounds dull...

Good night, all.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 07:01 (eighteen years ago)

7 hours later morning bump wow

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 14:19 (eighteen years ago)

Eating = overrated.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 15:31 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, I'm really sick of it. I just bought a new cookbook this past weekend in the hopes that it will help, but we have over 100 cookbooks, so it's kind of ridiculous to even hope at this point.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:49 (eighteen years ago)

thread title = broek ;_;

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:50 (eighteen years ago)

...and yet somehow this does not translate into weight loss.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:51 (eighteen years ago)

xpost

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:52 (eighteen years ago)

Is there, like, a lag time between the thread title breaking and it showing that it is broken? Because you'd think that the 7 hour gap would have done it more than the one hour gap, and it was okay this morning when I first posted.

Uh, not that this is important, but it just doesn't make sense to my non-computer brane.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

i thought lxy was off the net (not cuz of you) but she says she's been reading and not posting. classic lurker profile. her job is kind of horrible right now but tonight we have free 3rd row tickets to a professional basketball game so whoo hoo etc. she's in love with tony parker http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/vanessa20_05/3527.jpg (for the out-of-towners) so this is a big night. last night i told her pregaroo=pregnant kangaroo (i know how dumb that sounds. i'd been drinking. i wouldn't use that word except with the closest of friends, and even with them make it very clear it's a joke) and she said 'NO NO U LIE' and then that she'd check with estela and estela would back her up. in short, ITR is still in lxy's heart.

jergïns, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 17:35 (eighteen years ago)

COME BACK LXY WE MISS YOU

lol at pregaroo

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 17:49 (eighteen years ago)

and then it broke :(

jergïns, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 19:01 (eighteen years ago)

waaaaaaaaaaah

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 19:10 (eighteen years ago)

ugh ethan is driving me nuts on ile today

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 19:14 (eighteen years ago)

omg this weather... sooooooo cold, plus nasty wind

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 21:36 (eighteen years ago)

I mean, I'm really trying to make myself okay with the weather, but the fact that I'm somewhat concerned that my house will blow down is not encouraging.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 21:41 (eighteen years ago)

BANKERS HOURS BLOWTORCH

We need to start a running log of what the title has been fixed to.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 22:45 (eighteen years ago)

I just want to make sure that the last line maintains as "DAMMIT BUMP" on my work monitor

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 22:47 (eighteen years ago)

xpost FOR HISTORY

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 22:50 (eighteen years ago)

Of course now I can't remember any of the ones that are gone, but whatever.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 22:51 (eighteen years ago)

Important informacione for estela: I'm pretty sure the sign at "Give Her One Tonight Flowers" has been pulled down. Or they've covered it up ;_;

W4LTER, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 23:30 (eighteen years ago)

bumping because it is a new day, somewhere

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 01:21 (eighteen years ago)

NO BANKERS HOURS HERE BUMP

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 02:52 (eighteen years ago)

not yet thoroughly frozen, but close bump

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 04:42 (eighteen years ago)

i just made really delicious rice pudding bump

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 04:44 (eighteen years ago)

omg that sounds awesome; I love rice pudding! I almost never make it, though, because no one else at my house will eat it. ;_;

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 04:47 (eighteen years ago)

I have a serious craving for Pepperidge Farm cookies now due to the ILE poll.

But food is still a pain in the ass.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 04:49 (eighteen years ago)

i have gotten really lazy lately, and am eating previously frozen stuff for the first time in my life

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:35 (eighteen years ago)

& enjoying

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:35 (eighteen years ago)

Do you mean like frozen burritoes from the store or stuff you made yourself and then thawed?

I am desperate for food ideas, both for home and also for Monday and Thursday nights - there's no good time to eat those evenings with 6 to 9:20 class an hour from my house...

I hope there is a microwave in the nursing dept somewhere.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:53 (eighteen years ago)

I have sunk to the level of frozen fish-sticks.

You could try preparing parchment packets of fish/poultry + aromatics + grain + basting liquid and then microwaving for 3-5 minutes?

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:08 (eighteen years ago)

Ha, that might work - I am open to any suggestions at this point!

If I can avoid paying to eat at the school cafeteria (probably in a tremendous hurry), I would like to do that.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:24 (eighteen years ago)

I have been mowing through jars of cornichons a lot lately for some inexplicable reason. probably that they taste awesome.

W4LTER, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:37 (eighteen years ago)

Admittedly they don't look that great.

W4LTER, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:39 (eighteen years ago)

They look kinda great!

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:42 (eighteen years ago)

My favorite pickles are unreasonably hot garlic dill pickles. YUM

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:42 (eighteen years ago)

^^^

W4LTER, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:43 (eighteen years ago)

I should learn to make those.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:05 (eighteen years ago)

jergins, this morning i was right in the middle of typing a sentence about how i liked 'pregaroo' for a word when the power went off for about six hours so the energy company could 'perform routine maintenance', anyway i like it, even though it is a lie.

walter, i was thinking about that florist this afternoon because i drove down to currumbin and on the way back i thought, 'i wonder if i passed that florist yet, i probably did, walter should get his girlfriend some flowers from there.'

estela, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:05 (eighteen years ago)

Going to go huddle under 10,000 blankets in an effort to ward off the Arctic cold, so my last bump of the night

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:06 (eighteen years ago)

good night all - esp. remy, W4lter, and estela!

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:06 (eighteen years ago)

good night, sara, i wish it was a little colder here, it is unpleasantly humid.

estela, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:08 (eighteen years ago)

see you guys at 7:30 EST

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:30 (eighteen years ago)

that's in like four hours!

jergïns, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 08:14 (eighteen years ago)

it turns out lxy loves manu ginobli http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w91/cadyhoops23/Ginobli.jpg more, which was good because tony parker wasn't there. the hometown 12 beat the defending champs tonight. we clapped and wooted but not like we meant it.

at halftime and most of the third quarter we hung out in the arena bar with a guy who has one front tooth. you can't help but look at that gap.
