I have heard rumors of Trader Joe's somewhere in the Twin Cities metro, which obv. isn't Tom but I am desperate for food ideas a lot of the time. I kind of feel like I'm having the opposite of a love affair with food. I am hungry and I want to eat something, but I can't figure out what, and the whole idea of it just leaves me kind of cold.

This would be awesome if I didn't actually need to eat, but it seems that I do.

I am desperate for food ideas, both for home and also for Monday and Thursday nights - there's no good time to eat those evenings with 6 to 9:20 class an hour from my house...

You could try preparing parchment packets of fish/poultry + aromatics + grain + basting liquid and then microwaving for 3-5 minutes?

I have been mowing through jars of cornichons a lot lately for some inexplicable reason. probably that they taste awesome.

jergins, this morning i was right in the middle of typing a sentence about how i liked 'pregaroo' for a word when the power went off for about six hours so the energy company could 'perform routine maintenance', anyway i like it, even though it is a lie.
