the nail going through the fingernail - that was one thing i really couldn't handle in 'the ring'.

Rubyredd, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:14 (eighteen years ago)

See I don't even remember that part of "The Ring".

HI DERE, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:24 (eighteen years ago)

the part where her uncle or whoever clubs her over the back of the head and sends her tipping into the well, though, is actually more slapstick than anything

El Tomboto, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:27 (eighteen years ago)

stutter motion towards dude in apartment post fake-ending - that part was pretty fucking well done.

John Justen, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:30 (eighteen years ago)

You just described my daughter, Tom. I wake up to exactly that every morning!

I scrolled through this thread v.v. quickly and thought for a horrifying moment that this was somehow in relation to 2g1c.

HI DERE, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

actually, is the ring the only US adapt of a foreign horror film that doesn't suck?

xpost hahahahaomg bad bad dan

John Justen, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

See, now I'm never going to look.

Sara R-C, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:33 (eighteen years ago)

Probably for the best, I am enjoying life for the most part.

HI DERE, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:35 (eighteen years ago)

You are at a safer distance than John or FB, but still, it's best to err on the side of caution.

Sara R-C, Monday, 28 January 2008 20:38 (eighteen years ago)

staggering girls in dirty robes whose hair completely obscures their face are, in fact, completely terrifying

remy bean, Monday, 28 January 2008 22:04 (eighteen years ago)

Zodiac is a total bro-out

in my mind this totally sounds like some Zapp & Roger or Dazz Band chorus lyrics

El Tomboto, Monday, 28 January 2008 22:05 (eighteen years ago)

ZODIAC!! iiis a total BRO-OUT!!! (wormy 5-note bass riff)

El Tomboto, Monday, 28 January 2008 22:06 (eighteen years ago)

i wonder where lxy is, maybe she ran off with the teadrinklers.

estela, Monday, 28 January 2008 23:26 (eighteen years ago)

Those are some shifty folk, those teadrinklers.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 00:01 (eighteen years ago)

yes, they act hopeless but they're actually sly.

estela, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 00:12 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 00:14 (eighteen years ago)

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 02:01 (eighteen years ago)

roommate is off house-sitting so i can eat all his food, and his dog sleeps with me for maximum A+++++ happiness.

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 02:30 (eighteen years ago)

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:32 (eighteen years ago)

tom, do you have trader joes out there?

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:35 (eighteen years ago)

cuz i'm having some sort of love affair w. their microwave burritos lately

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:35 (eighteen years ago)

we have tj's but right now I'm tearing up a cedarlane BURRITO GRANDE

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:45 (eighteen years ago)

I have heard rumors of Trader Joe's somewhere in the Twin Cities metro, which obv. isn't Tom but I am desperate for food ideas a lot of the time. I kind of feel like I'm having the opposite of a love affair with food. I am hungry and I want to eat something, but I can't figure out what, and the whole idea of it just leaves me kind of cold.

This would be awesome if I didn't actually need to eat, but it seems that I do.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:46 (eighteen years ago)

and it's gone. now we brew a cup of SLEEPYTIME and crawl in to bed like some kind of pussy who has to get up in the morning for mandatory REMEDY HELPDESK SYSTEM TRAINING fuck you fuck ass shit fuck fuck bitch ass shit fuck

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 06:48 (eighteen years ago)

Tom, I hope you can sleep. My husband is doing help desk stuff right now and I kind of think he hates it. Training for it sounds dull...

Good night, all.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 07:01 (eighteen years ago)

7 hours later morning bump wow

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 14:19 (eighteen years ago)

Eating = overrated.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 15:31 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, I'm really sick of it. I just bought a new cookbook this past weekend in the hopes that it will help, but we have over 100 cookbooks, so it's kind of ridiculous to even hope at this point.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:49 (eighteen years ago)

thread title = broek ;_;

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:50 (eighteen years ago)

...and yet somehow this does not translate into weight loss.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:51 (eighteen years ago)

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:52 (eighteen years ago)

Is there, like, a lag time between the thread title breaking and it showing that it is broken? Because you'd think that the 7 hour gap would have done it more than the one hour gap, and it was okay this morning when I first posted.

Uh, not that this is important, but it just doesn't make sense to my non-computer brane.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

i thought lxy was off the net (not cuz of you) but she says she's been reading and not posting. classic lurker profile. her job is kind of horrible right now but tonight we have free 3rd row tickets to a professional basketball game so whoo hoo etc. she's in love with tony parker http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/vanessa20_05/3527.jpg (for the out-of-towners) so this is a big night. last night i told her pregaroo=pregnant kangaroo (i know how dumb that sounds. i'd been drinking. i wouldn't use that word except with the closest of friends, and even with them make it very clear it's a joke) and she said 'NO NO U LIE' and then that she'd check with estela and estela would back her up. in short, ITR is still in lxy's heart.

jergïns, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 17:35 (eighteen years ago)

COME BACK LXY WE MISS YOU

lol at pregaroo

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 17:49 (eighteen years ago)

remy bean, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 19:14 (eighteen years ago)

omg this weather... sooooooo cold, plus nasty wind

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 21:36 (eighteen years ago)

I mean, I'm really trying to make myself okay with the weather, but the fact that I'm somewhat concerned that my house will blow down is not encouraging.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 21:41 (eighteen years ago)

BANKERS HOURS BLOWTORCH

We need to start a running log of what the title has been fixed to.

HI DERE, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 22:45 (eighteen years ago)

I just want to make sure that the last line maintains as "DAMMIT BUMP" on my work monitor

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 29 January 2008 22:47 (eighteen years ago)
