in college, once, i came back from a party in a kilt. dead-drunk. i don't really remember how i ended up with it. but when i woke up in the morning i was dismayed to learn it was just a plaid skirt.

But YES, red wine counts as booze, too. Make some chamomile tea, drink it, take some Advil, go to bed and sleep a bunch.

If you have what A. and J. had it is exhausting and lasts for several days, but it will go on for longer if you don't take care of yourself.

These are difficult concepts for innocent persons such as myself to quantify.

well probably if you drank quite a bit while sick you would probably get your first hangover, so you should avoid it!

i don't really get hangovers either, unless i drink to the point of passing out (which i tend to avoid).

I'm never tempted to drink at all when I'm sick; I just want to feel better and I never imagine that will help.

I definitely don't want to drink to the point of passing out, because I'm paranoid. (Although right now it does sound more appealing that my evening plans: walking on my treadmill is okay, but hardly exciting.)

I just had some and I finally feel warm for the first time all day.

And make real cocoa and use whole milk, none of that powdered crap.
