I don't know what I missed, but somehow that seems like a good thing.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 01:41 (eighteen years ago)

Husband's rental car is a brand new PT Cruiser, which has got to be the most ridiculous possible rental. The kids are wildly enthusiastic about it, though.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 01:42 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Thursday, 10 January 2008 21:01 (eighteen years ago)

I have new glasses bump

Also kinda uneasy with sealing babies in glass containers

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 21:58 (eighteen years ago)

You wouldn't be so uneasy if it were seal babies. Or Seal's babies.

HI DERE, Thursday, 10 January 2008 22:01 (eighteen years ago)

^^^^^ True.

I am scared of both.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 22:03 (eighteen years ago)

dear little babies with happy waving arms should not be put in glass cases.

estela, Thursday, 10 January 2008 22:55 (eighteen years ago)

They are safer if they can get into a glass case and die of suffocation - or blood loss when they wave their arms and break the glass.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 22:58 (eighteen years ago)

I think there is a reason that modern incubators are made of plastic, is what I'm saying.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 22:58 (eighteen years ago)

guys I am a diplomat and a scholar

El Tomboto, Thursday, 10 January 2008 23:07 (eighteen years ago)

El Tomboto, Thursday, 10 January 2008 23:07 (eighteen years ago)

Tom, you're good enough, you're smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like you.

No need to be a wizard, too.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 23:10 (eighteen years ago)

That would probably just freak people out anyway.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 10 January 2008 23:10 (eighteen years ago)

Hey guys, I was fixing a guitar and had to step away from the internet for a bit. Did I miss anything?

John Justen, Thursday, 10 January 2008 23:45 (eighteen years ago)

JJ i have a guitar-related question/s for you:
my guy has a guitar and it is his beloved. but it is old and kinda fucked. a long time ago he told me that one of the best gifts you can get for a guitar player is to take their guitar to a shop and get stuff done to it. but i don't remember what stuff. like tuning and stuff i guess. or something.

so my question is: could i just take his guitar into a guitar shop and say 'do stuff to it' or do i need to specify?

and my 2nd question: i don't suppose you are familiar with good guitar places in oakland? i am scared to take it to someone who is crap and ends up fucking his guitar.

Rubyredd, Thursday, 10 January 2008 23:52 (eighteen years ago)

What you want to do is bring it in and ask for a "setup".

First things first, what kind of guitar is it?

John Justen, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:01 (eighteen years ago)

ummmmm... a black and green one???

:( i can't remember

Rubyredd, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:18 (eighteen years ago)

this is a picture of it, if that helps??

Your guy has lost his socks ;_;

Sara R-C, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:35 (eighteen years ago)

he rocked his socks off

El Tomboto, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:39 (eighteen years ago)

i'm so glad he doesn't wear those white sports socks pulled up to his knees with shorts

Rubyredd, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:43 (eighteen years ago)

btw: "what kind of guitar is it" - i DID know it was electric as opposed to acoustic (i'm not that stupid) i just have no idea about any other type details

Rubyredd, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:45 (eighteen years ago)

xpost yes, that is a look that makes one seriously question a man's judgement.

Sara R-C, Friday, 11 January 2008 00:51 (eighteen years ago)

oh fucking shit. The shit car salesman who sold me my new car (and accused me of having red hair o_O)has been fired, and now I can't pick up my piece of shit new car til Tuesday, which is v v inconvenient coz I'll be back at work then. u_u

How's everyone holding up anyway?
