Good morning all; John - uh, glad you got home okay, have some Advil and a lot of water, okay?

Sara R-C, Saturday, 22 December 2007 16:17 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, here's my plan: eat some breakfast, get on treadmill, guests/cookie-baking plus booze all afternoon, and then tonight I'm totally lying on the couch watching Dexter.

Sara R-C, Saturday, 22 December 2007 16:56 (eighteen years ago)

hi everybody. my plan for the day is to alternate drinking coffee and water, to alternate working on an xmas present and playing super mario galaxy, to alternate doing housework and smoking.

later i will run some errands.

and then we are having a late-night homemade perogies party with the jergins, seniors!

lxy, Saturday, 22 December 2007 18:59 (eighteen years ago)

hi everybody. yesterday we slaughtered two goats and a cow and today we slaughtered two further goats

Heave Ho, Saturday, 22 December 2007 19:15 (eighteen years ago)

lxy, Saturday, 22 December 2007 19:27 (eighteen years ago)

Eid al-Adha

Heave Ho, Saturday, 22 December 2007 19:29 (eighteen years ago)

That sounds messy!

Also like a lot of work. Wow.

Sara R-C, Saturday, 22 December 2007 19:33 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah it was. Me Pops did most of the work though and mother and sis in law. Me and my bro just carried the meat around mostly.

Heave Ho, Saturday, 22 December 2007 19:39 (eighteen years ago)

did you give some away to the poor?

add to my list for the day: learn something about a muslim festival.

HAPPY BARI EID, HEAVE HO!

lxy, Sunday, 23 December 2007 00:30 (eighteen years ago)

Last minute Xmas shoppers should not also be irate idiots. In my experience, however, they almost always are.

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 00:57 (eighteen years ago)

Actually, even earlier Xmas shoppers can be completely awful. Okay, maybe it is just people. (Suddenly remembering a flood of horrible customers from clothing store and also the bookstore I worked at. UGGGG.)

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 00:58 (eighteen years ago)

Cookies are done and frosted, btw. What an exhausting and insane project.

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 01:14 (eighteen years ago)

sara, did you drink all afternoon? at least now you have sugar cookies... yum!

lxy, Sunday, 23 December 2007 05:20 (eighteen years ago)

lol, yes I drank some. My best friend wouldn't let us start the rolling out and baking before I had a drink in my hand. She is awesome.

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 05:45 (eighteen years ago)

ugh morning bump

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 15:52 (eighteen years ago)

hi hi friends. would that there were someone here now to insist on putting a drink in my hand.

lxy, Sunday, 23 December 2007 19:02 (eighteen years ago)

okay well not really, but it sounded good.

what's the haps, y'all?

lxy, Sunday, 23 December 2007 19:02 (eighteen years ago)

Going to my parent's house in a bit for gift exchange, ordered out pizza, and margaritas. My mom likes to dye the margaritas weird Xmas colors. It's only about 25 miles away, which is good because it is snowing like crazy out.

What are you doing today, lxy?

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 20:04 (eighteen years ago)

xmas colored margaritas = SO AWESOME!

doing today... let's see. pretty much the same as yesterday. and hoping to see tonight a good friend who is in town for a few days. the scheduling difficulties during holiday time are woeful.

be careful driving, src, and have a great time your funny, cute mom!

lxy, Sunday, 23 December 2007 21:08 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Sunday, 23 December 2007 21:30 (eighteen years ago)

all this work what the fuck bump

stet, Sunday, 23 December 2007 22:10 (eighteen years ago)

omg green margaritas yum!

lxy, I hope you get together with your friend. I've been feeling completely overwhelmed with activity over the holidays, but at the same time I so SO want to see everyone I've pretty much ever met.

ALSO - OMG the snow is crazy. John (and FB and Caledonia and anyone else in the area), don't go out tonight unless you have to. It's going to take us a long time to get home tonight... but I really don't want to stay in Hastings, so...

Sara R-C, Sunday, 23 December 2007 23:48 (eighteen years ago)

i am procrastinating. why???

lxy, Monday, 24 December 2007 03:32 (eighteen years ago)

I don't know, maybe it is something that ITR dwellers so. I procrastinate on a daily basis.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 December 2007 04:06 (eighteen years ago)

I hope I'm not contagious.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 December 2007 04:06 (eighteen years ago)

You should have seen the horizontal snow in Maple Grove. Even so, my sister and I are HARDKORE and through the magic of 4WD, completed the Xmas shopping.

suzy, Monday, 24 December 2007 04:19 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Monday, 24 December 2007 15:19 (eighteen years ago)

THREAD TITLE TRUNCATION YET ANOTHER SIGN OF THE DIMINISHING RETURN OF "CHRISTMAS MIRACLES" bump

John Justen, Monday, 24 December 2007 16:36 (eighteen years ago)

I blame myself, since I slept a solid 11 hours last night.

John, good luck with retail hell. Suzy - lol at you and your sister shopping in that yesterday. That IS hardcore.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 December 2007 17:14 (eighteen years ago)

I wish we had snow bump

stet, Monday, 24 December 2007 18:48 (eighteen years ago)

Looks gorgeous outside today with the snow today; it DOES have multiple downsides, though.

To be honest, I kind of hate weather in general. If I can just stay inside the house, I'm good.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 December 2007 19:35 (eighteen years ago)

Stet, I would offer to send you some of our snow, but I feel like it might not make it through the postal system very well.

Sara R-C, Monday, 24 December 2007 19:37 (eighteen years ago)

it is likely that i will be uninternetted for 24 hours, plz to keep up the fine bumping tradition good peoples of ITR bump

John Justen, Monday, 24 December 2007 20:02 (eighteen years ago)
