Wow, I haven't seen Cool Hand Luke since high school.

whenever I see that movie I'm thinking through the whole egg scene "oh my god the smell. oh my god, the smell. oh my fucking god, the SMELL. The SMELL. oh jesus what the fuck" etc. and then imagining the gas that evening. if that actually happened he would have cleared the fucking bunks, there would have been a jailbreak strictly out of a desire to not have to inhale his fumes
