i was a little perplexed when a classmate who i think is a little verbose/moronic (verbosity a very obv. attempt to cover up her inabilities) told me she got an a+ in marketing. it made me feel weak/inept. but i know deep inside the profs were probably just fooled by her verbosity. still, it stings a bit.

i found the #1 crush from my 20th year on facebook and he is no longer cute and sexy and geeky, but instead is all feral and has dreadlocks and looks like a gross hippie. yuck.

Ugh Saturday mornings when you have to wake up at 4:30 a.m. Remind me why I thought this was a good idea?

So I just listened to one of my best friend's new self-produced album. It's a little silly in parts but mostly really fucking good. It's strange being really close to someone so genuinely and demonstrably talented.

i used to get so jealous that i had a few crazily talented friends while i was generally completely uncreative and hopeless, but now in my old age i feel so proud of what they do, and so lucky that they're willing to share it with me first.

and N.I.C.K., how are doing since the whole break-up thing? everything okay?

Oh, I'm fine. I've kind of got other things going on in that regard, actually. It seems my big-time-longest-relationship-never-really-got-over-it ex has some sort of insane internal radar and called me like, 24 hours afterwards. Total "this will probably be really bad for me, but there's a small chance I'll be immensely happy and my dreams will come true" stuff.

Best not to inquire on my lovelife, really. Far too lol college for public consumption.
