Of course chaki's well known for his discretion and respecting boundaries so I'm happy to afford him the same courtesy.

good night itr

estela, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:36 (eighteen years ago)

oh woah i missed some stufff...

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:39 (eighteen years ago)

Coining a new phrase here: a 'bro job' is a misguided defense of another poster whose own shitty behaviour mirrors and enhances the OP's idea of himself as someone suitable to Drink With The Guys.

Yes tza. Chaki is so butthurt about what they did to his BF he's down in ER having his coccyx x-rayed.

suzy, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:44 (eighteen years ago)

burt stanton already coined 'brojob' as an act of oral sex two bros engage in on the dl while drunk on coors lite, so there might be some confusion there

deeznuts, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:48 (eighteen years ago)

hey someone told me this place was like sex and the city? who's samantha?????

DG, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:49 (eighteen years ago)

burt stanton did not coin "brojob" that phrase is as old as the hills

max, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:50 (eighteen years ago)

i know but its cool to think he did

deeznuts, Thursday, 29 May 2008 14:50 (eighteen years ago)

Pardon us for ignoring a Stanton post, I can't think why such a thing would be overlooked. I direct you guys to an essay called Peter Knows What Paul Wants (author? no idée), which covers random acts of het male BJ madness.

suzy, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:09 (eighteen years ago)

haha suzy.

so back to idle twee chatter we are so good at?

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:22 (eighteen years ago)

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:32 (eighteen years ago)

We're not a very good Sex & the City.

HI DERE, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:32 (eighteen years ago)

ill-advised post

DG, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:36 (eighteen years ago)

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:36 (eighteen years ago)

Nice job Tehresa!

PHEAR MY MIGHTY PHALLUS

Mr. Big, Thursday, 29 May 2008 15:38 (eighteen years ago)

tehresa - CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wow, that's a lot of grades. Just one class is killing me!

I've never seen a single episode of Sex and the City, so I'm at a loss here. Except I know that Sarah Jessica Parker plays "Carrie," and is apparently getting married or something. At the very least, I've seen unflattering bridal photos of her in a rather ugly wedding dress on the rolling beauty thread.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:04 (eighteen years ago)

Okay. This is a great thread. I <3 you all. Not Mr. Big though, I hear he suffers from bootyflakes...

hyggeligt, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:05 (eighteen years ago)

hahahaha

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:07 (eighteen years ago)

thanks sara! i'm really nervous about the last grade to come in, but at least marketing was an a!

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:16 (eighteen years ago)

you are doing ALL this work for 1 class???? it must be like 1000 credits!

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:16 (eighteen years ago)

No, it's just 8 credits. I wouldn't mind any of it, really, if the deadline on the GIANT papers that go with clinicals were extended some. Still, this time I feel a bit more psychologically prepared to sit and write 30 pages on no sleep. Some poor prof is going to have to read it all, sooooo...

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:32 (eighteen years ago)

Wait, was your marketing class the one with the prof who was making you crazy?

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:33 (eighteen years ago)

yes!!!!!!!

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:34 (eighteen years ago)

also, wow an 8 credit class is INTENSE. mine don't get bigger than 4.

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:34 (eighteen years ago)

YAY! That is awesome to get an A from that prof.

8 credits is kind of intense, but at least it's just the one class at a time. There's one woman in our class who has kids, lives an hour from school, AND has a full time job. I don't know how the heck she does it. (The one with SIX kids I kind of understand... classes must be a respite for her!)

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:36 (eighteen years ago)

it seems like 1 8-credit class is a trick for them shoving 14 credits into 1 class.

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:46 (eighteen years ago)

Meantime -- rhinos = they are badass.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:49 (eighteen years ago)

xpost The last few weeks of this class are kind of insane. The profs don't seem to realize this, though. If they'd just stop adding random stuff to the syllabus, that would help....

Ned has made me grateful that, if nothing else, my patient this weekend is unlikely to be a rhinoceros.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 16:55 (eighteen years ago)

HERRO

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:43 (eighteen years ago)

I MAILED OUT NEW SCRIPT YESTERDAY

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:43 (eighteen years ago)

ned, did you see my q. about lambert simnel above?

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:43 (eighteen years ago)

HI REMY!!!!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:50 (eighteen years ago)

hi sara!

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:52 (eighteen years ago)

So you finished a script? Congratulations, if so - I'm impressed by your productivity.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:54 (eighteen years ago)

congrats remy, that's awesome!

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:56 (eighteen years ago)

I finished the final rewrite of a script I was supposed to finish in February (though life intruded – leaving LA, saying bye to the kid and dog, horrible time in SF, second relocation to Seattle), and now I feel purged and actually really happy. I like this city: I am already hard at work on another script, and will begin a new feature film in a few weeks.

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:57 (eighteen years ago)

right now I hate productive ppl

grrrr

HI DERE, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:58 (eighteen years ago)

this is the basic story of the new project

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 18:59 (eighteen years ago)

right now i hate employed ppl

grrrr

xpost

tehresa, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:00 (eighteen years ago)

yeah that's pretty basic, remy

El Tomboto, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:01 (eighteen years ago)

more complete wiki

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:02 (eighteen years ago)

Why are you all so employed and productive?! It doesn't make me hate you, it makes me want to sleeeep.

Remy, that looks interesting. I am totally unfamiliar with your subject matter, but do tend to like films based on history... I am glad you are doing so well right now!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:07 (eighteen years ago)

I have an idea for a movie but no idea how to turn it into a script. ;_; Plus I'm sure someone's done it already.

HI DERE, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:10 (eighteen years ago)

Well, I feel quite certain that no one has done it quite the way you would, Dan. (Besides, they say there are only 3 or 4 stories out there... everything else is a variation on those.)

So yeah, how to turn it into a script could be a problem, but I feel like you can figure that out somehow.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:12 (eighteen years ago)

CUZ YOU'RE DAN PERRY

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:13 (eighteen years ago)

i wd def. read a movie dan wrote

remy bean, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:13 (eighteen years ago)

Dan is a really good writer, but I think he sometimes forgets this fact somehow.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 29 May 2008 19:16 (eighteen years ago)

hi you guys!

today i went with my dad to a storage facility in south knoxville and we looked at the last earthly possessions of HIS dad. pretty strange. lots of wooden monks, some silver, an itinerary for a trip to stockholm in 1978.

last nite i finished recording lines for "0012 - Jane Bond", an audio drama. i play the villain. i suggest all budding screenwriters study it for masterclass tips. for instance, when your hero is hanging from a ledge by her fingertips, make sure your villain taunts her with a weak joke, like "out on a LIMB, are we??"
