Going to bed late again after realizing I did a section of my Care Plan wrong last night. I fixed it and resubmitted it late. And I kind of feel like an idiot about it, except that I was so tired that I could barely function, so actually I'm not that surprised.

Another classmate told me that she was so exhausted that she couldn't remember her password for her work email on Monday, so I suppose that in comparison to that, I was doing okay!

I'm not sure whether I should be more frustrated with myself or with the program right now. But if this was a test of whether I can function on way too little sleep for several days - hey, surprise, I CAN'T!!!

oh man sara we are living in parallel universes. i am always trying to figure out if it's me that's lacking or the program. i want to say the program needs some tweaking since some aspects of it haven't been updated ot deal with current circumstances (see: crazy spreadsheet guy has been teaching this class for like 15 years or something and hasn't updated his business model even though nothing in current situation matches it). but also, i worry that's just me trying to find a scapegoat. probably a little of both.

after presentations, i went to my friend's to study for tomorrow's final, then it took me over an hour to get home. 2 more days...

Thanks for making me feel a bit better about it, tehresa. I think we are in the same boat, and I am SUPER envious of John for getting to hang out with you next week, because MAN, I would love to vent with you about academic insanities!

I would be posting more, but I'm still trying to recover from this past weekend. There's no doubt in my mind that I have the stamina to be a nurse (despite my mother's unforgettable early 1990s opinion); whether I have the stamina to remain a student nurse in *this* program remains to be seen. (I'd like to know the rationale for making us write 15-20 single spaced pages on no sleep, please!)

I would also post more if I did not feel like a boring person with only one thing on my mind at this time.

Yeah, I sat for 14 hours at my computer writing on Monday and was like, wow, this REALLY doesn't fit with how they are always going on about how body mechanics and preserving your back are important in nursing.

Yeah, it's definitely time for a meta-metabreak. I never post my daily effluvia on ILX, cuz it seems like the few times I have it's either roundly ignored or chewed over with heavy snark. I'm assuming that's part of the point of this thread; to just be pointless?
Anyways, tonight looks pleasant; if it'll stop raining, i'm gunna do a six/seven mile run with the pit, put in an hour on the wii fit with girl, order some food and watch an obscure vincente minelli film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0037604/). Gotta figure out whether or not i'm off for memorial day here....

waiting out the remaining 40 pre-exam minutes on campus. this is nerve-wracking but i think studying is moreso.
