PS to Nick from way upthread - yeah, I got up at 4:30 a.m. this morning to get to the hospital by 6:15 or so. I was worried that my patient would have died and I wanted to have a bit of prep time if I was going to have to give 8 o'clock meds to someone new. (My patient did not die overnight, btw, in case you're seriously worried or whatever)

i am a total slacker. i came home from work and instead of getting to work on my final, watched the end of the celtics-cavs game (intense, yo), and then took a nap. now i am groggy and thinking about making dinner? perhaps i'll just knock the final out tomorrow during the day?

I'm entirely useless right now, but I have to start work on the paper-writing aspect of clinical, so I suppose I'd better do that. SIGH.

I went camping and saw lots of wallabies and I am not sick.

But it was really fucking cold and windy and rainy and i am surprised i'm not sick.

a young plumber man with an innocent face knocked at my door about half an hour ago to ask if he could run an extension cord through my window to do some work at the house next door, so i said he could and he was very grateful and said i had saved his bacon, and just now he came back to get his cord unplugged and when i handed it to him he went to say automatically 'my pleasure' but realised it wasn't the usual him being thanked scenario so he quickly changed what he was saying to 'my treasure', then he blushed and scarpered, it was funny.
