Krukker's got a rack too

jergïns, Friday, 9 May 2008 00:15 (eighteen years ago)

lol he's prob the funniest thing about that episode.

wilter, Friday, 9 May 2008 00:19 (eighteen years ago)

(even though i didn't know who he was when i watched it the first time)

wilter, Friday, 9 May 2008 00:20 (eighteen years ago)

okay I came into that episode 5 minutes late so now it is orders of magnitude funnier to me

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 02:42 (eighteen years ago)

hay guys!

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:18 (eighteen years ago)

i just found out my roommate has houseguest this weekend. she is v. nice and has stayed here before but i was really hoping for super quiet weekend for getting massive project done. stressing!!!!

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:18 (eighteen years ago)

Yay I got my TWO points! And better yet, I now have three days to study for Monday's test (and, more importantly, to stay at home and RELAX)!

Dan - OUCH.

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:33 (eighteen years ago)

how was limericking?!?!

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:36 (eighteen years ago)

Ha, we only read the non-obscene one:

There once was a man with one son,
Who had diabetes type one,
With no insulin left,
His cells were bereft,
And his blood sugar levels could stun.

Otherwise, it was a pretty ordinary role-play/skit. Which I LOATHE doing, but my partner in class was not too receptive to my suggestions, ("let's do a ROCK OPERA!" etc.)

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:38 (eighteen years ago)

hahaha rock opera

it's ok, yesterday my theater history prof made us go outside in a common area on campus and do this boal 'playing' exercise with some chinese play. we scared everyone away in like 2 minutes.

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:39 (eighteen years ago)

ha ha ha AWESOME!

I was trying to fit Type I diabetes information into the music for "Jesus Christ, Superstar," but then I realized that no way was N03ll3 going to play along with this plan.

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:41 (eighteen years ago)

Wait, was the play actually in Chinese? Because that would have been even more awesome!

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:41 (eighteen years ago)

haha no it was translated but we basically had to act out a scene but only a few of us had scripts and the rest of us had to just go along w/ it and be the 'crowd' and improv. it was all about getting into the hivemind mentality, which honestly i don't think i need practice doing since i post on ilx, but you know, it was post-colonial day...

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:43 (eighteen years ago)

There's an episode of aqua teen hunger force w/ neko case in it.

i have no idea what that is

-- Rubyredd, Thursday, May 8, 2008 11:59 PM (Yesterday) Bookmark Link

i am getting the impression that rubyredd is either a) actually pinefox's long lost twin or b) not actually a nerd, cuz this is kind of hard to fathom is messageboardom

deeznuts, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:43 (eighteen years ago)

deeznuts i live in nz and i used to have a life before i started working and studying and saving to go to the US so i never used to be an internet nerd till very recently.

also i am a slow learner and not culturally hip and i have a lit degree so i'm sure those are some good excuses.

Rubyredd, Friday, 9 May 2008 04:50 (eighteen years ago)

I have never seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force in my life, but I think it has to do with me being out of it and old; I am certainly nerdy.

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 05:27 (eighteen years ago)

i watched it a couple times bc this guy i was seeing was so shocked i hadn't seen it and made me watch. but that was like, 4 years ago? i didn't know people still liked it.

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 05:30 (eighteen years ago)

despite going to one of the nerdiest schools in the country and living like 10 minutes from where ATHF is produced I've only seen like 5 minutes of it

Curt1s Stephens, Friday, 9 May 2008 05:32 (eighteen years ago)

I like it. Think this season has been a shitload better than the previous one.

wilter, Friday, 9 May 2008 05:34 (eighteen years ago)

ha ha, yes, that bomb scare was pretty funny (at least from this distance). I think the Cloverfield Rifftrax makes a joke based on that incident. (At least something I watched recently referenced it...)

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 05:36 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, it is ridiculous that I am still sitting here; I need to get some sleep.

So good night all ITR peoples. <3 <3 <3

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 06:21 (eighteen years ago)

Hope next week is an improvement wiltz.

Dawn was breaking when I went to bed. It had not finished breaking 'pon my rising. This does not bode well for the day.

Upt0eleven, Friday, 9 May 2008 08:58 (eighteen years ago)

Yay noze!

Ned Raggett, Friday, 9 May 2008 14:53 (eighteen years ago)

Where shalt one read(/hear?) your Melvins interview? And what will you ask of the legendary sludgers?

Upt0eleven, Friday, 9 May 2008 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

Publication details forthcoming. As to what I will ask, I will entertain suggestions.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 9 May 2008 15:14 (eighteen years ago)

Ask them if they any of them have ever backflipped into a pair of jeans:

I will see what else I can come up with to amuse myself for the rest of my day.

That reminds me that I have an interview with a certain largely-loathed-by-ilx californian indie pop band sitting around on my dictaphone at home. Should really do something with it at some point.

Upt0eleven, Friday, 9 May 2008 15:25 (eighteen years ago)

a certain largely-loathed-by-ilx californian indie pop band

What, a lot of people love Motley Crue.

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:07 (eighteen years ago)

the chick at the beginning is BAD

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:08 (eighteen years ago)

lol omg, so so FLAT

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:20 (eighteen years ago)

They totally should have profiled us, we did "Ernani" with 12 guys and 9 women and were blowing shit off the stage.

4ndr3 Flynn is pretty good, though.

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:22 (eighteen years ago)

Also lol how many rehearsals do they have? We only had 3 before we started staging!

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:23 (eighteen years ago)

omg their women are fucking awful

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:24 (eighteen years ago)

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:28 (eighteen years ago)

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:28 (eighteen years ago)

really i expect higher standards from npr. kind of disappointed.

tehresa, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:28 (eighteen years ago)

unfuckingbelievable

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:29 (eighteen years ago)

I am starting a new choir next week (assuming I like it).

Mark C, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:39 (eighteen years ago)

details plz

HI DERE, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:44 (eighteen years ago)

I would have liked to see a video clip of Dan's opera blowing shit off the stage myself.

Sara R-C, Friday, 9 May 2008 17:54 (eighteen years ago)

xpost to jessie - GOOD LUCK!!!!
