Otherwise, it was a pretty ordinary role-play/skit. Which I LOATHE doing, but my partner in class was not too receptive to my suggestions, ("let's do a ROCK OPERA!" etc.)

it's ok, yesterday my theater history prof made us go outside in a common area on campus and do this boal 'playing' exercise with some chinese play. we scared everyone away in like 2 minutes.

Wait, was the play actually in Chinese? Because that would have been even more awesome!

haha no it was translated but we basically had to act out a scene but only a few of us had scripts and the rest of us had to just go along w/ it and be the 'crowd' and improv. it was all about getting into the hivemind mentality, which honestly i don't think i need practice doing since i post on ilx, but you know, it was post-colonial day...

i am getting the impression that rubyredd is either a) actually pinefox's long lost twin or b) not actually a nerd, cuz this is kind of hard to fathom is messageboardom

deeznuts i live in nz and i used to have a life before i started working and studying and saving to go to the US so i never used to be an internet nerd till very recently.

also i am a slow learner and not culturally hip and i have a lit degree so i'm sure those are some good excuses.

I have never seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force in my life, but I think it has to do with me being out of it and old; I am certainly nerdy.

i watched it a couple times bc this guy i was seeing was so shocked i hadn't seen it and made me watch. but that was like, 4 years ago? i didn't know people still liked it.

despite going to one of the nerdiest schools in the country and living like 10 minutes from where ATHF is produced I've only seen like 5 minutes of it
