I am hopelessly cranky tonight.

Tomorrow night is our big 2 point presentation! I only wish that I could bring you all in as Special Guest Stars.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:08 (eighteen years ago)

sara you don't know cranky from a hole in the ground

El Tomboto, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:10 (eighteen years ago)

speaking as a fucking expert on the fucking subject myself, argh, growl, sneering, loss of patience, temp banning, flicking off things

El Tomboto, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:12 (eighteen years ago)

Sadly I take my crankiness out on my family instead of you, Tom.

PERHAPS THAT SHOULD CHANGE

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:22 (eighteen years ago)

sara you probably have more right than almost anyone i know to be cranky, so go ahead and let it out!

Rubyredd, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:23 (eighteen years ago)

Although what am I going to do, sneer at you over teh computer? I'm sure that would be intimidating.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:23 (eighteen years ago)

RR, you are v. sweet and deluded. Things could be much worse. This has just been a frustrating week.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:24 (eighteen years ago)

DUDE YOU ARE A FULLTIME MUM/KEEPER-OF-THE-HOUSE/STUDENT

HOW MANY OTHER PPL DO YOU KNOW DOING ALL THOSE THINGS AT THE SAME TIME

Rubyredd, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:28 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:31 (eighteen years ago)

Rubyredd, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:32 (eighteen years ago)

I AM A FULLTIME PLUS WORKER ALSO MOVING ALSO TRYING TO CRAM IN AS MUCH DRINKING AS POSSIBLE WHO WILL PLAY THE TINY VIOLIN FOR ME

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:33 (eighteen years ago)

Ha, I know about 25 other people - one of the women in my class has SIX kids!

I don't know if this is typically American, though. We might just be a hyperactive/compulsive group.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:35 (eighteen years ago)

RR your shoes are bitchingest! And MAD GONJRAJS ON THE GRAJUMATION!

Abbott, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:39 (eighteen years ago)

PIONEER SPIRIT with which we TAME THE RUGGED BEAST WHAT WE CALL FREETIME xpost

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:40 (eighteen years ago)

xpost I think moving is actually more stressful than what I am up to. Moving makes me want to kill myself and every one around me. And to also burn all of my possessions on my lawn.

So play your violins for John all you want, guys!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:40 (eighteen years ago)

Sara I asked my youngest brother abt diabetes limeric (he has type I) and he says you should try and work the word "Hodia" in there. It is the name of Idaho's youth diabetes camp. And he says you should try and mention that diabetics are more susceptible to celiac in the poem. I doebt this aids your rhyme scheme or scansion but he was fully stoked you wanted to do something creative about diabetes.

(He replaced his guitar strings with tubing meant for his insulin pump.)

Abbott, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:41 (eighteen years ago)

moving is the fukkkkkkking WUR%ST

Abbott, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:42 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:42 (eighteen years ago)

Rubyredd, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:44 (eighteen years ago)

ruby, i don't think i am exaggerating, all the industriousness was a great shock to my system.

estela, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:45 (eighteen years ago)

Abbott - please thank your brother for his suggestions! That is an especially interesting detail to me, as a friend was just diagnosed with celiac disease (although, so far as I know, there is no diabetes in her family). Also lol about the insulin pump/guitar strings. Now THAT is creative! (MAN I wish I could get him to my classroom for tomorrow night.)

Wait, doesn't RR work two jobs, plus she was going to school until she graduated a few weeks ago?!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:52 (eighteen years ago)

While John is off wrangling calves (or whatever he really does with them; let's not speculate), I'm going to get onto my treadmill and work out my irritation with life. I will probably also watch some Simpsons episodes.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:53 (eighteen years ago)

FLUFFY BEAR SIGHTING ALERT ALERT FLUFFY BEAR HE IS SIGHTED

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:53 (eighteen years ago)

Still sunburnt Y/N

Still drunk Y/N

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:54 (eighteen years ago)

i dont know i only saw him over there on that other part of the internet inventing drinks

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:55 (eighteen years ago)

I assume that if you lose him tonight, you will not have to put on that parka again, John. When you were walking to the backyard in that thing I had a total flashback to John Carpenter's The Thing.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:55 (eighteen years ago)

Wow, FB still inventing after the clamato/beer stuff. He's got gumption.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:56 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, if I don't get on the treadmill soon, I will be walking after midnight... in my freaking living room!

Later guys.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:56 (eighteen years ago)

yeah i did sara, but i don't have kids or a household to run

Rubyredd, Thursday, 8 May 2008 01:59 (eighteen years ago)

I think, JJ, it might be better if you try clamateer again but w/the Clamato energy drink, ¡Energia!

Abbott, Thursday, 8 May 2008 02:01 (eighteen years ago)

RR, my house is a terrifying disaster right now and I'm a crap mom and bad wife lately as well.

Also, I'm apparently pretty stressed as I watched two Simpsons episodes and they both made me cry. Also, I had a brief conversation on the phone with D3an, and I think I'm probably going to have to apologize tomorrow. But I was really busy!

Ugh, I suck.

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 03:54 (eighteen years ago)

Is your semester ending, Sara?

Mine is way less I'm sure because I'm just a student, but at the end of every semester I totally get that where I'm gettin' all teary when I hear some steel guitar flipping through the radio or some shit.

I'm also a huge wimp, that may account for it a bit.

en i see kay, Thursday, 8 May 2008 04:01 (eighteen years ago)

I'm like a guy brandishing a gun in a crowded place all "GIMME A REASON, I DARE YOU" except instead of a gun it's a reservoir of approximately five tears and instead of a crowded place its commonly used pop culture tropes.

en i see kay, Thursday, 8 May 2008 04:04 (eighteen years ago)

My semester will end in June, so we've got a ways to go; this has just been an intense last few weeks. I have Saturday AND Sunday off, which is good because next week I will be at the hospital Wednesday afternoon, Thursday night, Friday night, 7-3:30 on Saturday and 7-3:30 on Sunday. And then we have a big care plan due on Monday night (btw I have no idea how to write that).

But yeah, I'm exactly as you describe, en_i_see_kay. Are you secretly my fraternal twin? One of the things that made me cry on Simpsons was a Carpenter's song (yes, I KNOW how ridiculous that is).

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 04:33 (eighteen years ago)

lord this time of year just SUCKS IT.

if i finish my marketing plan really well by tuesday i don't even care wha i get on my other exams the following week.

tehresa, Thursday, 8 May 2008 04:49 (eighteen years ago)

also rr should listen to estela re: crazy overproductive (or pretending to be overproductive while whining about the stress) american types.

tehresa, Thursday, 8 May 2008 04:50 (eighteen years ago)

I'm just going to be happy if I make it through this goofy presentation tomorrow night at this point. tehresa - hang in there!!!

You know what is annoying is that non-student people are probably out there, enjoying the weather (which is finally decent here) and relaxing.

ARGH

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:01 (eighteen years ago)

I am listening to loud evil music. This is a good thing.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:02 (eighteen years ago)

the fact that all the artists on Paganfest are on emusic = multiple less than threes

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:04 (eighteen years ago)

wait so should i go to paganfest?

tehresa, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:08 (eighteen years ago)

multiple less than threes

Is this some kind of secret code they taught you at the recitation of the rosary on Sunday, John?

Sara R-C, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:08 (eighteen years ago)

if you are down for nordic folk metal featuring hurdygurdy, then yes xpost

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:09 (eighteen years ago)

so yes

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:09 (eighteen years ago)

sara i will leave it for you as a thought experiment

John Justen, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:09 (eighteen years ago)

sounds kinda cool, tho not my norm. i war invited today and had never heard of it before.

tehresa, Thursday, 8 May 2008 05:10 (eighteen years ago)

John, believe me, imagining you as a Catholic is a thought experiment I tried a long time ago.
