i would like to be second. i keep forgetting to buy it (even after dropping like $85 on groceries today!)

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 06:18 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, I want to know how you forget to buy chocolate. I went to Target to buy a sports bra tonight and I came home with chocolate!

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 06:32 (eighteen years ago)

And on that confessional note, I'm going to go pass out and hope that tomorrow I can find some energy to read some textbook stuff.

Good night, all!

(p.s. tehresa, I have you down as second. If you are really forgetting to buy chocolate, you need to be near the top of that list.)

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 06:34 (eighteen years ago)

hehe awesome. yeah, i forget everything. always. i should make lists. but then i forget them in my pocket and it doesn't do any good.

night, sara!

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 06:35 (eighteen years ago)

so i got that link jw gave me, and i downloaded the portishead album, but i need goddamn winzip to open it and i already tried that shit awhile ago when ilxor pfunkboy sent me a bunch of music, and i TOTALLY fucked it up and had no idea what i was doing. so the trial has expired and i'm not paying $30US for software that i have no idea what do with it. pfunk kept telling me it must be my computer cuz there's no way someone could be retarded enough to not be unable to unzip files... but i'm 99.99% sure i am that spazzy.

this is so embarrassing :/

Rubyredd, Monday, 5 May 2008 09:49 (eighteen years ago)

www.7-zip.org

It's just like WinZip only it's free.

HI DERE, Monday, 5 May 2008 12:26 (eighteen years ago)

I see ppl are getting lax in the face of our super-resiliant title

HI DERE, Monday, 5 May 2008 15:03 (eighteen years ago)

RR, I wouldn't know how to unzip files, either. This is why I married a tech support type; I always have computer help, even when I am at my most clueless and spazzy.

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 16:31 (eighteen years ago)

stayed home from work today to work on giant project but instead just wrote cover letter and sent out resume for another job. oops.

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 17:55 (eighteen years ago)

I should be working on my project, too. What am I doing instead? Trying to find one of the three Netflix envelopes that *must* be around here somewhere so that I can get a new movie for Wednesday night!

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 18:19 (eighteen years ago)

THANKS DAN!

you forgot to add 'and way easier to use than winzip' --- i now have the portishead album! going back to sleep for a couple of hours while listening to it.

Rubyredd, Monday, 5 May 2008 18:34 (eighteen years ago)

^_^

HI DERE, Monday, 5 May 2008 19:16 (eighteen years ago)

jesus machinegun really is A++++++++++++

Rubyredd, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:36 (eighteen years ago)

^_^ ^_^ ^_^

HI DERE, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:37 (eighteen years ago)

damn they already wrote back and said i am awesome but the job is too much traveling for someone finishing a degree. argggggghhhhhh there is no win.

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:37 (eighteen years ago)

i dlded that too, on hunter now. first song was cut off -- did that happen to you, rr?

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:38 (eighteen years ago)

yeah i think thats the deal --- it cuts off then plays out silently for a few seconds, i imagine this is something to do with 'silence' being the title? i dunno

Rubyredd, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

Yes, it cuts off abruptly mid-phrase. So awesome.

HI DERE, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:45 (eighteen years ago)

Buying this album is going to be my reward for not strangling anyone during my first semester of nursing school. CANNOT WAIT

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:46 (eighteen years ago)

Anyway, Dan should talk more about Nollywood.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:53 (eighteen years ago)

ahhhh i r smart

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:54 (eighteen years ago)

HEY IM STILL PACKING AND MOVING

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:55 (eighteen years ago)

HELLO

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:55 (eighteen years ago)

MOVING IS FUCKING BULLSHIT

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:56 (eighteen years ago)

SEE YOU IN A MONTH IF I DONT DIE OR KILL SOMEONE

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 20:56 (eighteen years ago)

John, just relax and enjoy another delicious beer plus clamato. I am sure you will feel better immediately.

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:02 (eighteen years ago)

P.S. Hiring movers was supposed to help with this stress. If you still need help next week, let me know. (This week I have massive scheduling issues, plus I fear that your stress added to my stress would lead to a total giving up of all projects, with very bad outcomes for you, me, and everyone we know.)

Sara R-C, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:04 (eighteen years ago)

if bad outcomes = total awesome drunk party, then you're otm

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:06 (eighteen years ago)

but i feel like that would be a fun outcome

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:06 (eighteen years ago)

WISH ME LUCK ON DATE GUYS

Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:09 (eighteen years ago)

good luck, you should fly her to MN and treat her to a night of moving heavy boxes

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:12 (eighteen years ago)

see the problem w/hiring movers is that you still have to put all your useless crap in boxes in order for the people to move them

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:14 (eighteen years ago)

there are some movers that will do that for you.

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:15 (eighteen years ago)

the biggest problem of the fact that i haven't moved in over a year is that i'm starting to accumulate crap again. as much as it sucked moving every 3-6 months for a while, it was a really good way to minimalize the disaster.

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:16 (eighteen years ago)

originally we were just going to have the moverdudes move all the furniture hueg stuff but now that i have moved half my records up and down some staircases im thinking those boxes of books and cds would look pretty awesome in some other poor sonsabitches arms

John Justen, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:20 (eighteen years ago)

(John has discovered why I'm selling off my CDs at a rapid rate.)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:41 (eighteen years ago)

this album is weird. there are moments where i'm super into it, but others where i am like 'ugh this is like bad high school soundtrack of my life' (i don't know if that actually makes sense)

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:42 (eighteen years ago)

maybe headphones will change things.

tehresa, Monday, 5 May 2008 21:42 (eighteen years ago)

ok i just emailed m4rk m*rphy design about the ray caesar book i preordered the first week of january and IT IS COMING OUT NO LATER THAN AUGUST WITH DOUBLE THE PAGES AND EXTRA STUFF! jordan is getting me the collector's edition but i also wanted a regular trade edition, but dude has been totally shady about production dates.

Rubyredd, Monday, 5 May 2008 22:57 (eighteen years ago)

this was probably not the best week for me to send john justen some things in a box.

estela, Monday, 5 May 2008 23:42 (eighteen years ago)

ha ha, estela, you are making me want to send John things in a box now, just to give him a hard time!

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 03:39 (eighteen years ago)

I heard on the radio this afternoon that Minnesota is #3 in the nation for binge drinking. I think my nursing class may drive this number upwards in the near future. The only person in the class who hasn't mentioned wanting booze desperately lately is the recovered alcoholic.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 03:41 (eighteen years ago)

reading post-colonial theater is making me pass out. now in the crucial 'do i actually go to bed this early or try to get more work done?' moment.

tehresa, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 03:54 (eighteen years ago)

I am honestly just trying to get past organizing this ridiculous 2 point project; after *that* I can focus on the zillions of pages of reading for Monday's test. Ha ha, I have to fit a clinical in this week, too!

Someone please kill me now.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 04:26 (eighteen years ago)

tehresa, I hope you decided to get some sleep.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 04:26 (eighteen years ago)

i just ended up talking to my little sister in peru for an hour on skype instead of sleeping. now i sleep? but now i'm a little wound up from sisterly silliness.

tehresa, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 05:08 (eighteen years ago)

Aw, that sounds like a nice way to spend some time!

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 05:35 (eighteen years ago)

Time for me to sleeeeeeep....

'Night ITR <3

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 05:58 (eighteen years ago)

Good morning ITR!

suzy, Tuesday, 6 May 2008 11:56 (eighteen years ago)

word. i have been absent since the strange goings-on of friday night. Bank holidays rule! Later I shall post three pictures that quite neatly encapsulate my weekend. But now must get on with pretending to work.
