Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 03:41 (eighteen years ago)

yo i am awesome and i just pulled a 300 word response out my ass and now i am DONE with homework weeee!

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 03:47 (eighteen years ago)

and it's not even MIDNIGHT!

damn, wish i had a beer.

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 03:48 (eighteen years ago)

If John and Dan get into one of their high school era-type disagreements, I am going to hide in my bedroom for a week.

I have just completed marathon 2 1/2 hour studying of teh fluids and electrolytes - via telephone! I think I need a drink, too.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 04:17 (eighteen years ago)

you are so dedicated! it makes me feel like a slacker.

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 04:32 (eighteen years ago)

Well, the friend who sits beside me in class got REALLY sick last week and missed a class, and so I was just going over the notes with her on what she missed. It probably helped me as much as it helped her.

Don't be impressed, seriously. I have a test on Thursday night and we have to know the different symptoms of too much and too little of 6 or 7 different electrolytes... I can remember only a few. I have to find a way to cram this stuff into my brain somehow. I have no ideas about how I will accomplish this, however.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 04:41 (eighteen years ago)

Ideas will come.

I too have finished a lot of writing work and am on the verge of the sleep. But there's still more writing work due tomorrow. Yargh.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 05:21 (eighteen years ago)

My only idea right now involves physically stuffing the information into my brain through my ear.

Maybe I could consider getting a very elaborate tattoo tomorrow.

Otherwise I'm at a loss here.

Ned, your writing productivity astonishes and frightens me. I hope it has cooled off some in LA and you can get some sleep.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 05:42 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, I have half a handle on sodium, potassium, and calcium. I'm going to bed before I lose the little I have learned.

Good night!

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 06:24 (eighteen years ago)

Morning ITR. I went to see a sort-of-electro band play last night and they covered Spacemen 3! So I was happy, and a bit drunk.

Mark C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:38 (eighteen years ago)

I went to a pub quiz that wasn't on. So really I just went to a pub.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 09:54 (eighteen years ago)

Rubyredd, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 12:23 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 12:44 (eighteen years ago)

i also just got home from work - it was the looooooongest night. and it it bucketing down, ima scared my room is gonna get washed away \o_O/

Rubyredd, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 12:46 (eighteen years ago)

and i have been printing today! i love it, but i have to say that working one job where i'm standing at a counter all day, and another job where i'm running round all night + another job where i'm either leaning over a press or leaning over a typecase picking out/putting away type=not good for my shoulders/neck, which currently feel like they are on fire.

Rubyredd, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 12:48 (eighteen years ago)

it sounds cold, much as i love wellington i know how miserable it can get.

i suggest you get some dencorub ointment, it is brilliant for inflamed necks and shoulders, i'm sure they would sell it in nz.

estela, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 12:57 (eighteen years ago)

yeah i gotta get something for it, because it's killing me at the moment. and i can't find my hotwater bottle to put on it ;_;

Rubyredd, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 13:01 (eighteen years ago)

Some super hopping going on here:

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg187/nick-uptoeleven/rocky-ii2.jpg

In my defence, I am at work and really shouldn't be occupying myself with this kind of activity. ANd it took me 30 seconds. And I had my eyes shut the whole time.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 13:17 (eighteen years ago)

hopping??

Rubyredd, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 13:19 (eighteen years ago)

shopping. of the photo kind.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 13:20 (eighteen years ago)

Upt0eleven IS...THE SUPERHOPPER.

Leaps threads with a single bound.

And that's it.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 14:22 (eighteen years ago)

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:23 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:26 (eighteen years ago)

is that like that movie jumper?

One of my all time favorite stupid titles thanks to the context of said word in England and elsewhere.

"Hayden Christensen is...SWEATER."

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:27 (eighteen years ago)

the movie jumper has started multiple heated arguments between the people who think it will be shit hot awesome and me.

John Justen, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:28 (eighteen years ago)

i have had the piss taken out of me on many an occasion by Americans for employing the term 'jumper' to mean 'sweater'. could someone please explain to me again why that is?

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:30 (eighteen years ago)

also, i can't imagine how a film with hayden christensen in it could ever be shit hot awesome.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:31 (eighteen years ago)

but apparently it has rachel bilson in it too. so i am conflicted.

Upt0eleven, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 15:31 (eighteen years ago)

in America "jumper" is only every used to describe one-piece outfits worn by little girls.

You need to talk to fewer crackheads. Also you need to COME TO BOSTON, FUCKFACE.

HI DERE, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 16:22 (eighteen years ago)

Yes, it's definitely time to seek shelter.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 16:40 (eighteen years ago)

Meantime I am listening to that Walt Mink album that everyone loves. Or at least that Dan and John love.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 17:36 (eighteen years ago)

hayden christensen is a fine actor, with a terrible terrible agent

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 17:41 (eighteen years ago)

Miss Happiness? GOOD CHOICE, NEDDIGAN

everyone needs to go buy the new Portishead album NOW

HI DERE, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 17:42 (eighteen years ago)

i just bought the nick cave album

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 17:45 (eighteen years ago)

Miss Happiness? GOOD CHOICE, NEDDIGAN

Yup yup.

I would happily buy the Portishead album had I the money. I do not. Tomorrow, a different story.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 17:50 (eighteen years ago)

Also the bit I heard of Madonna's new album was surprisingly good!

HI DERE, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 17:53 (eighteen years ago)

ppl are saying it's tits

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 18:10 (eighteen years ago)

that meeting was PAINFUL

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 18:11 (eighteen years ago)

y?

remy bean, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 18:50 (eighteen years ago)

no Portishead

HI DERE, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 18:55 (eighteen years ago)

lol!

our gala is tomorrow. no one knows what they are doing. no one knows how to make a decision. things quickly escalate into a bunch of hysterical people freaking out over nothing and stressing everyone out. for an hour. they create problems where there aren't any. it is very frustrating. and loud.

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 19:00 (eighteen years ago)

That Portishead album is my next c.d. purchase. Soon.

Sara R-C, Wednesday, 30 April 2008 19:28 (eighteen years ago)

I suspect A. has already bought the new Madonna album. He's worse than I ever was you guys, srsly.

For as long as I've known Dan AND John, I do not believe I have ever heard Walt Mink EVER.
