Rubyredd, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:27 (eighteen years ago)

this spoon of marmite thing, it seems to be opposed to the natural order of dissolving in liquid

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:28 (eighteen years ago)

it is odd how translucent it becomes

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:29 (eighteen years ago)

Marmite is opposed to the natural order.

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:29 (eighteen years ago)

so, general verdict? would probably not drink again, but would eat again?

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:29 (eighteen years ago)

nick you missed all the excitement

it was really quite thrilling here for a few minutes

i was unsure whether john justen was still alive and thought i might have to wake sara

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:30 (eighteen years ago)

it does seem to have all been kicking off in here in a marmite-y kinda way

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:33 (eighteen years ago)

well i am willing to drink pretty much anything, but AS THE OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS TASTE TEST HAVE NOT MADE THEIR CASE in the interim it is clear that MARMITE IS THE BEST OF YOUR ODD FOODS NOW AND FOREVER until i have a valid ACTUALLY HERE IN MY POSSESSIONATE CHALLENGER

xpost howdy i am still alive at least as far as i can tell

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:34 (eighteen years ago)

it is odd that the dissolving marmite dollop does not seem to get any smaller

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:35 (eighteen years ago)

I HOWEVER AM DEDICATED TO THE TASK AT HAND

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:38 (eighteen years ago)

this drink is starting to taste nasty

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:39 (eighteen years ago)

to drinking the entire concoction? dude YOU CRAZY. bravo though.

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:40 (eighteen years ago)

i think it would go down quite well in a bloody mary. altho maybe the yeastiness of the beer will complement the yeastiness of the marmite.

Rubyredd, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:40 (eighteen years ago)

surely you don't wanna overdo the yeastiness? better to balance it out. what be the opposite of yeast?

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:41 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen and Fluffy Bear Will Drink It

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:42 (eighteen years ago)

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:43 (eighteen years ago)

THIS STUFF IS OPPOSED TO DISSOLVING

John Justen, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:47 (eighteen years ago)

x-post

apparently so. i should probably now spend my working day coming up with new gross things for you to drink. if you are still alive after this one of course.

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 08:47 (eighteen years ago)

one time we put some vodka and gummy worms in a plastic cup and left them overnight. The worms soaked up as much vodka as physics would allow, the rest evaporated, and we ended up with a rainbow-camouflaged, perfectly circular alcoholic gummi disc, a little lumpy, a lot squishy, at the bottom of the cup.

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 09:39 (eighteen years ago)

I think I just went from dealing with too little free time/me time to dealing with ALL OF IT AT ONCE so I'm still very much not used to it and can't get a grip

I am still kind of there. Have you tried poker?

Mark C, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 11:44 (eighteen years ago)

i was unsure whether john justen was still alive and thought i might have to wake sara

I am trying to imagine what I could do if I thought John was really dead. Text him a message, "R U DED?" and hope for a response?! It's not that I don't care if John is dead; I'm just not sure that driving to his apartment would help that much since it would take me, like, an hour!

It seems that I missed a lot of excitement last night in my pursuit of sleep ;_;

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 13:05 (eighteen years ago)

I think I'll go pursue sleep a bit more. Four nights in a row of nursing school anxiety dreams = I am not feeling very well rested.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 13:24 (eighteen years ago)

Today's rofflyness:

'Thank you all, I'd like to show you how a bill becomes a law -- now we see here that the nipples are...oh wait...'

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 15:30 (eighteen years ago)

You had me at "nipples".

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 15:32 (eighteen years ago)

Meantime, in possibly related news:

(Context.)

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 15:37 (eighteen years ago)

i don't want context, I just want permission to giggle like a schoolgirl over "Titmouse".

Upt0eleven, Tuesday, 29 April 2008 15:52 (eighteen years ago)

Permission granted.
