Instead of moths or aphids, my house tends to attract boxelder bugs. It hasn't been bad at all lately - very few of them around - possibly because it is so cold STILL that it has snowed a bit every day for the past three days. And it might do so again today.

also the rug we got has a traditional design from 2500 BC and is mostly white w/slate blue, dark red, greys and greens in it. I would tell you more, but the very helpful clerk in all other ways, when I asked him what the design was, referred to it as the "Persian Happy Tree" design, which shockingly appears to not be the academic name for it.
