yeah i haven't had to do this in a while because my current job was kind of handed to me, but of course it was for a limited term (intellectually, i couldn't manage to stay there longer than a year anyway) so now it is like PRESSURE time bc i need a job to pay rent and write my thesis and all this jazz but at least whatever i end up doing should be permanent and i won't have to search again for a while.

yeah my jobhunting hate is pretty much the biggest reason i've been at the same job for so long - i hate it but 'better the devil' etc.

I'M FAILING TWO OF THE CLASSES REGARDLESS SO IT'S NOT SO BAD

dude i failed 10/12 classes in my first two years at uni (straight outta high school).

then i went back age 24 and i think i've failed something like 6 more classes in four years basically because i'm lazy.

in other words: do not stress about it.

this kid just came in and he was I SWEAR the spitting image of damien from OMEN. he marched past me while staring me in the eye without blinking. fuckin crepey brat.

I was out in Fortitude Valley on Saturday night w/ gf, and these 3 dudes were walking towards us, as they approached one of them leaned in right infront of gf's face and screamed "SHIT CUNT MOTHERFUCKING COCK" and kept walking. It was p funny.

I used to get so annoyed with myself if I didn't do well on calc exams (which I never did well on)... and then I'd remind myself that someday I'd be dead and I wouldn't care about my calc test scores.

Guess what, I'm not even dead yet and I REALLY don't care about my calc test scores.

I'm not really stressing out about it, I just had some fucked up anxiety issues this semester that kept me from going to lecture as often as I should have. Next semester I should be back in top form.

curtis are you eating/sleeping/drinking lots of water? i know it sounds gay, but seriously not doing any of these things completely fucked up my last year of school and i almost didn't make it through to the other side. also: B vitamins are very very very important.

this job hunt would not be nearly as stressful if it was not occurring in conjunction with my last 3 weeks of school and exams and galas and banquet things. what timing. argh!

yeah y'all know how i decided to say 'fuck it' w/ that theatre history paper - grades probably not gonna matter. i will most likely have perm. job a year before finishing my degree, so no one will be looking at the grades. however, regardless of grade, my marketing project has to be KILLER because it is something i will be able to put in my portfolio.

yes the anxiety thing was my problem too.

i was basically retarded all of last year due to my lifestyle. seriously. i used to ace essays and exams when i put some work in, but last year i honestly felt like someone had climbed into my brain and lasered out half the neurons or something. i couldn't concentrate for any length of time and i couldn't comprehend anything - like, i'd read this novel and then look at the essay question, and i just couldn't find any correlation. it was truly horrible, and i've never felt so stupid in my whole life.

without jordan cheerleading me, i don't think i would have passed any classes in the last three semesters i did.

wow i filled out an online app that was like 3 years of questions and profile-building. i am exhausted and don't want to do homework now!
