does checking the box next to it in bookmarks and hitting remove not kill it?

I had that shameful issue too, but somehow I got rid of it.

In all my years in the post-bookmark era, I had never actually visited the bookmarks controller page! I thought bookmarks only existed at the top of SNA!

you can save a copy of the page as a backup and then clear all bookmarks as a cleansing new year tradition

Yeah, that's a known thing -- it just means the person who posted the link is on ilxor.com -- we don't try to redirect those (though probably should tbh)

I get poxy fule error when I post Twitter links in my phone's chrome browser. Don't get this on other devices.

Nevermind, figured it out. The Twitter app on my phone adds some extra characters to its tweet links that ILX doesn't like. Deleted them and post worked.

i keep getting broken image links (firefox, linux, probably others) usually embeds from twitter and imgur. the src looks ok and the link works when clicked on but it doesn't show up inline.
