yeah. he posted a note on socials asking people not to compare it to 'care for me,' which makes me think he worked hard to make an album that wouldn't stand in its shadow.

Yeah really like the new Saba. everyone is raving about the last three tracks of the album - which are great - but being really into Smino and 6lack’s style, having them together on Still makes it automatically my fav one even before I listened to it.

i really love how saba is so diverse over the course of an album, different styles of beats, different flows, guest rappers with really different styles...most rappers have thing that they are good at and just stick to that, saba can switch it up by it still has an overall sense of unity

GTA slaps for sure. The production sounds similar to the HBK Gang work used by P-Lo and Iamsu!.

I just noticed the ILM tracks of the year poll wrapped up a week ago -- not much hip hop there at all that I'm seeing. I can't even find the hip hop thread from last year. Was there any kind of year-end wrap up, or any recommended best of the year lists out there? Appreciate it.
