Voted for Call Your Girlfriend. I still have a lot of time for both Robyn singles, Boyfriend, Cold War, Go Outside, Shutterbug and Teenage Dream. This list really doesn't excite me that much though. A lot of my favourite albums of the year aren't represented here.

I’ve never heard of most of these songs.

Between Shutterbug, Good Intentions Paving Company, Monster and Wut, went with the first one. Monaé's top songs have also aged surprisingly well.

I’ll admit Round and Round would be my pick if he wasn’t such a monumental dirtbag. Not particularly fond of this era so I voted for Joanna Newsom in honor of my wife.

Is ILX not still into "Rill Rill?" It was from ILX that I learned about it, and its ability to charm me has not lessened since 2009, an obvious winner among the options here

I think “Rill Rill” is decent enough but every other song on that album is better/more interesting

It amuses me that the "most commercial" song/single from a triple album sounds like the McGarrigles going prog.
It puzzles me that a Platinum Blonde cover sung by the guy from the Cure is regarded as one of the best songs of the year 2010.

Glad to see this series come back to life. There are too many Arcade Fire songs on this list even if I like that album. I couldn't get past the first entry and Robyn will get this vote.

i have peaked ahead and this years list is the worst of the decade, trying to say is that it will get better. regardless, still going to try and listen to all 45 songs before voting.

lots of garbage here. weirdly the yeasayer song still sounds great to me

finally decided on the biggest earworm of the year for me "Pumped Up Kicks." sort of a messed up story. when this song was big and everywhere i remember we had a mass shooting, don't know which one as the US has them all the time now. this song popped in my head and would not leave.
