"Doesn't Really Matter" was such a perfect summer jam. I don't think anyone thought that confident mid tempo thing would be her first post-VR single.

She was the only person in Nutty Professor 2 with a song on the soundtrack; it would have been weird for it not to have been a single.

I listened to "Nasty" for the first time in a long time recently, and that syncopated percussion still sounds like the future to me. Plus some cool change-ups in between those sections. I'd put it in the running for GOAT

Control's title track has become my favorite -- it's steel. And "The Pleasure Principle"! My god.

I listened to All For You on my way to and back from work today and it sounded so good in the sun. The ballads are all so gorgeous. When We Ooo, China Love and Love Scene will all be on my list. I always forget how great Better Days is too. Probably my favourite closer of hers (not including the nine second outro obviously).

"Because of Love" is perfectly sequenced on the album, after the previous five or six songs' worth of genre zigging and zagging, nailing the landing with another "Escapade."
