That would be NaakMusiQ.

It’s an unfortunate choice of words though (not that you would have known), as the female singer on this, Nichume, committed suicide a year ago. I had heard about it, but didn’t realize it was her on this track until just now.

(to make matters worse, Mobi Dixon’s treatment of her -he was her label boss- apparently was a factor in this. damn, I wish I hadn’t known)

so there's a "Mzansi House" playlist on Apple Music that seems to be all this sort of stuff. Is that just their name for the playlist or is that a recognized genre name?

"Mzansi" stands for South Africa.

to quote a Wikipedia quote:
