i thought ilm loved hysteria. or is that a more recent thing?

i guess mainstream hard rock fans are the least likely to vote in polls then?

Penis Envy was #10 on my ballot so I didn't put a second Crass album in the top 50, although I think I nominated Christ and Yes Sir I Will. I agree that Christ: the Album is really good though.

I voted for the REM; its probably my favorite of the 80s besides Chronic Town

I also voted for the Helios Creed; I think his solo stuff is more up my alley than Chrome tbh

I think I got both of these CDs that same year in 1989. All the punk reissues were coming out that I was playing on my radio show, Fester's Bucket O' Nasties. Meanwhile a friend's metal show was turning me on to a bunch of bands including Terrorizer.

not sure if the story's true but supposedly the hot pink boobs cover was the label's original suggestion, bon jovi hated it so much he sprayed water on a garbage bag, wrote the name of the album on it, and took a picture.

Mars' 78 was released on Lydia Lunch's Widowspeak label in '86.
