The Kiss was my no.1. Pandemic otm about it being a great opener - I did my listening chronologically and tbh was finding it a bit hard work after the early rush. Then I got to Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and woah! It's nothing flash either, just a wah pedal and an echo, but so effective.

"Drowning Man" and "Strange Day" both in my Top 10. So brilliant.

"Like Cockatoos" is what I used to place on mixtapes to divide the dilettantes from the fans.

"Like Cockatoos" is so good, I can't even express it. Everything I love about dark Cure.
The long intro, the unconventionnal song structure, great imagery, a little bit eastern sounding, weird noises (are they supposed to sound like cockatoos or cockroaches?), the amazing string ending. Beautiful!

Don't forget the bass line!

It is irritating me mildly but aggregately every time nate posts a single or b-side as Japanese Whispers, 1983 or another b-side as undated. I did all that hard work for you! (except typoing Love Cats as ’84, erm)

"The Walk" is the only one of my top 10 to show up so far, but out of today's I also had Like Cockatoos, The Kiss, Caterpillar and Love Cats. Hanging Garden was the last thing I cut, I think...

I just noticed that "The Upstairs Room" placed higher than its A-Side "The Walk".
I wonder if "The Exploding Boy" will place higher than "In Between Days" or if one of the "High" B-Sides will be it too?
