Prins Thomas also has a new downtempo mix/comp that LN-CC was selling a month or two ago called cosmanova IV (apparently you can DL cosmanova II on the web, it's from a couple years ago)... totally balearic

I think that balearic jam on the Psychemagik mix is Chris Fantasy's Fighting The Wind which is quite old and super rare.

It's on the Moonboots mix too.

L+PT and Emperor Machine remixes are really all I find myself revisiting on the Locussolus album.

really feeling that Mythical Beasts release, Its a good sign on remixes when the Brennan Green one isn't the best.

wrt the locussolus lp's weak reception, is it just a reaction to the lack of new material (which, come on, it's all fairly new right?) or do people actually not like the music all that much? because for my money, gunship, little boots, i want it, and next to you all tower over most everything else i've been listening to in this neighborhood for the past year or so & have been on repeat from day one. and throwdown is getting a far worse rap than it deserves from what i can tell - what IS the problem with taking sleazy disco rock into 90s malls?

disappointing from a 'i want more!!' perspective, maybe, but does anyone dispute the bassline in 'next to you'? or the solo in 'gunship'? or all 28 gloriously sweaty minutes of 'little boots'??

Not 100% sure whether this is the right thread, but the new Out of City album is some pretty neat space disco.
